Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Wing T
I just read two reviews on Tripadvisor and I would just like to openly express my views and ask a question to the two 'bad review writers', all the past reviewers and the restaurant for some answers: I just read two reviews that I thought was hilarious. There’s two ‘regulars’ that say they have been very frequent regulars and there was a time where they visit the venue on a weekly basis but the second there are issues, a bad review is written. So does this mean the two diners only criticise and never praise for the good service and food from those previous visits? As a fellow customer to the venue, after reading the comments from both Amy C AND Jean C (the mother and daughter)'s experience I too would be annoyed with the type of customer service received as well as paying for the food that's not properly cooked. BUT I am curious whether the two reviews are.. at all legit. I understand each party has a side to every story but I would like to ask the two diners whether the staff at Mizu actually use the following words and phrases: 1. "IF THEY COME IN AGAIN DONT SERVE THEM" 2. "why do you keep coming back? If you don't like the meals then don't come in” and 3. GOOD YOU ARE BARRED" No offence IF the phrases were used BUT anyone who works in the service industry, let alone the manager and staff would not jeopardize and risk their jobs for two, ahem “regulars”. The phrases are serious (if it was said) and I do not believe anyone with common sense would use them, of course unless they don’t care about their jobs. From what I know, there is not a ‘barring’ system in operation in Mizu unless you wreck or cause a big nuisance and judging from the two reviews, the experience isn’t exactly anything of a nuisance that was ‘oh so serious’ that they needed to be barred. I've got no relation with the noodle bar but just a very regular customer and I find it very odd and as the two diners have recently signed up to Tripadvisor, I find the reviews fake and it looking at the stats it seems like the accounts are only opened to write bad reviews. No offence (again) to the two diners, but if you two were regulars in the first place, did you two ever write a GOOD review on the previous visits? To all previous diners: what would you do if you was in the same situation? and do you all believe the three phrases that i've copied (from the reviews) were true? I would just go straight to management and if I was still unhappy with the way they dealt with it, I would go higher until something was put in place even if it meant to go to the owner/s or write a complaint letter rather than escalating it on Tripadvisor. It seem like it's a matter of attention seeking.
