Went mid week evening, the place was quiet but this didn't affect the experience. Staff were friendly. The menu is concentrating on South Indian including Dosa's. There is a page of the usual Indian restaurant dishes but mostly the dishes were different. Highly recommend a stuffed Dosa to share, don't order one each to start they are huge. We ordered... More

Been looking around for a indian buffet and found this place. Place was nice looking but the table cloth had stains on it,not a good start. Initial service was good and we got our drinks quickly. The range of food is very very low,nan bread was disgusting and solid as a rock, there was 2 rice and were ok,4 curry's from... More

My friend and I went to a show and thought we would find something to eat before heading to our hotel. We found this beautiful place and were so glad we did. What a thoroughly enjoyable meal. The Kuku Kaju was a wonderful blend of spices and textures, the flavours burst exquisitely in the mouth, leaving the taste buds crying... More

The menu looked really interesting, but this place was such a disappointment! We'd allowed an hour and a half to eat before a show at the Regent, and ended up missing the opening act because we waited so long at the Indian Palace. We were asked three times to order from the drinks menu, then some time later a waiter... More

First time experiencing Indian Palace, we used the Groupon voucher and had a 3 course menu option for 2. Lovely staff, ambiance was peaceful and enjoyable.

My husband and I went to this place last night before the "Viceroy's House" film at the IFT. I just spotted this restaurant on the Groupon website and thought it would be fitting to have an Indian meal before the film on colonial history. Well... to our joy, it turned out to be a Southern Indian and Shri-Lankan, exactly the... More

Spacious restaurant but rather dated and tatty. Varied menu with lots of unusual dishes. Our starters were delicious-I had a pancake (dosa) filled with tasty chicken and vegetables and my husband had fried cashew nuts which were amazing. One main and one side were brought out and I had to tell the waiter that we also had another main and... More

For a Friday night the Indian Palace was so much quieter than it should be. The food here is excellent and it is a bit different from most of the indian restaurants in town. They do serve the 'classic; curries but specialise in southern indian and sri lankan food. It is cooked beautifully and the service is excellent and friendly.... More

i was brought up on and love the food of the sub-continent, but like many i despair at the ubiquitous sludge turned out by most "indian" restaurants. Last night we found the Indian Palace accidentally after a concert, we went in mainly because a nearby kebab house looked so rough. it was late on a sunday but they still invited... More
