Called in today on a visit today the views up there are superb on a lovely day like it was today, the staff were nice but be warned the coffee machine takes ages holding up the queue, but the fish and chips mmmm very nice and tasty and the tea was very good

after 30 minutes at the summit on a cold and windy day we made our way to the captains table cafe basically help yourself if you require cakes which we did and choices of snacks and drinks because its the only cafe maybe prices were a bit steep but it was fine and the views were lovely we went late... More

Arrived at 12:10 for some lunch. Nothing was ready and the staff were still putting out food as we arrived. After a queue to get food we were told that sausages and sausage rolls would be 10 minutes we paid and queued again. This time chips ran out and sausage rolls still not ready... Rest of the food served up... More

our walk around the Orme left me gasping for breath(after a steep climb) and sustenance which we found in summit cafe, Lovely cup of tea gorgeous cream cake and a glorious view on a sunny day weho could ask for more

Tram up to the Orme summit, windy and cold so hot drinks required. Coffee not served at the bar yesterday we had to go through to the self service cafe. No skimmed or semi skimmed milk just full fat. Excellent views from cafe but fairly expensive. Looked to be well patronised. Food OK but nothing out of the ordinary

Once you get to the top of the great orme is this nice pitstop. If you are just looking for a cuppa tea or maybe a bit to eat lovely views with outside seating. When we visited we had a lovely warming bowl of homemade soup which you help yourself to very reasonable as well

We always call in for a beer & cornish pasty as the beer is lovely and the pasties are great! Only had a sandwich and coffee,but the bread was very fresh and tasty and well priced also staff clearing the tables v.quickly and keeping the place clean,especially as they were v.busy
