We visited the Emperor Chinese restaurant for a Saturday evening Buffett. This is the type of buffet where you help yourself to the starters and desserts but the main meals are served one at a time - obviously cuts down on wastage!! The choice of starters was fairly good providing you like spicy food but the prawn toast and the... More

This was a different set up to most chinease buffet. Great value for £11 each. When we arrived staff assisted us up and down the stairs with the pram. The starters served from buffet so can help yourself, soup and prawn crackers served promptly. Then can order any meal from menu served with rice or fried rice. Then desert was... More

Not the most authentic Chinese dining experience, but for the price of the food it was good value! The restaurant was a bit warm & cramped, and the waiters asked us numerous times if we wanted refills for our drinks. The help yourself selection of deserts is a bit different from anywhere else I've visited before, with a variety of... More

We where greeted by a lovely West Indian or African lady, showed us the terms and menu children Under 10 eat free. 2 Adults 2 Children. The lovely lady and all staff ran out of the restaurant when it was time to leave. The owner or Oriental lady presented us a bill for 3 adults and 1 child. Tried to... More

We dropped in here after seeing a sign on the pavement and thought for the price it was worth a try. The restaurant itself is upstairs and is a smallish room. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We had the buffet. You help yourself to starters and desserts and order the mains from a menu. We were also offered... More

When this place first opened it wasn't too bad but year on year of returning for holidays, it has gotten worse. When we went a few weeks back, the food was very very limited and it was just all greasy cheap food that you would buy from your local supermarket frozen aisle. Very little resembled Chinese cuisine and it was... More

Avoid this place at all costs. A tiny, cramped, outdated 'restaurant' (I use that term loosely) crammed in a room on the second floor of an old building (above a couple of shops). Waited nearly 30 mins for a table (along with 11 other couples and families who arrived after us). They thrust a bowl of stale prawn crackers in... More
