We ate here twice once for dinner and once for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed our experience on both occasions. The staff are lovely and service is great. The food was delicious and the lunch menu is super value. It is a popular spot for locals...and lunch time always appeared to be very busy. The restaurant also catered well for our young daughters aged 5 & 3.More

On a Thursday in early June the restaurant interior was fully reserved. Tells you something. So we sat outside. Our host let me use my poor French on her but she spoke English. We took the menu du jour. Potage, a tron mousse, porc steak,...perfectly cooked, with pasta and a vegetable sauce followed by fromage (which we skipped) and a delicate lemon cake with creme anglais. All this with bread, a small pichet of wine and coffee for Euro14.00 Outstanding. The food is worth a 5 but I am only scoring 4 because the restaurant interior is ordinary and small.More

On a wet quiet day we were the only people here for lunch , until another couple of French gentlemen came in. Service was warm and friendly. As it was Sunday the menu du jour wasn’t available so we both chose the steak. We got...a lovely amuse Bouche of a soup which I think was spinach - tasty and hot. The steak was huge and tasty and the fries salty, crispy and delicious. A half litre of rose and then coffee made for a delicious lunch. I just think it was a teeny bit pricey but we were very satisfied and would recommend it totally - would love to go back mid week!More

Thank you very much for this nice comment it's very kind. I understand that it can seem expansive but all our products are local and bought raw and worked in our restaurant. We spend time cooking and sublimating our products, which justifies our rates. We...More

This restaurant is situated in the centre of the village with seating indoors and out. Our food was excellent and beautifully presented. The welcome and service were every bit as good as at the owners' other restaurant, La Sobronade in nearby Vaunac, but this restaurant...has a different style and menu - equally excellent. We had a great evening here in every respect and hope to be back next year.More
