Swell use to be our favourite breakfast spot , unfortunately we won't go back after this morning. My breakfast ,avo smash was dry and bland..the toast was so hard I struggles to get my knife through it. Half an avocado dumped on tiny pieces of...cardboard toast with what looked like an entire bag of rocket and parsley balanced on top with slices of cucumber. Bacon was overcooked and hard. It was not great and I couldn't finish it. Coffee was delicious,service was amazing ..such a shame.More

Delightful staff and a beautiful view of the ocean. Noisy on the inner section but thankfully we were on the outer section. Every one enjoyed their meals especially the Leek ad Pear Risotto with flatbread. We managed our lunch in the time frame allowed but...couple probably extended as the crowds had diminished. The chocolate mousse was enough for us to plan our next visit.More

I came here with my friends and our children. Service was outstanding - very accomodating, prompt and friendly. Location is great with a lovely view of the ocean. Coffee was delicious, but for me my brunch (food) was slightly disappointing. I had the huevos rancheros,...and whilst the flavour was there is was super watery.More

Went for lunch, just before 12pm, was told the kitchen was closed and no orders would be taken until 12:15pm. Wouldn't have minded if the lady wasn't so condescending so we left. Bad experience. Wouldn't recommend.

We would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a very pleasant dining experience right on the beach! We plan to return and come back for more!!

Beautiful spot . Nice food . Terrible attitude from staff and waitress , we were interrupted mid conversation multiple times to request the food order , promptly told we couldn’t have multiple sides by themselves ( didn’t care for my dietary y and I was...“ told I needed to order bread”! ) even when we had already ordered coffees and my friend a full meal . Then we were kicked off our table after only 1 hour 20 min - because it was “ apparently reserved “ on a Thursday midday ? - with around 7 tables empty around us . As a former waitress , they acted completely unprofessional and with poor etiquette . Completely Unimpressed and felt pushed out . Wouldn’t recommend the place , at , all .More

Great spot with ocean views. Good food and service average price. Best Prociutto abd Parmesan pizza ever tasted. Not too noisy. Have been three times now.

Our young waiter was new on the job and forgot to tell us there was going to be a 45 minute which cut into future swimming time. By the time we asked where our lunch was, our 45 minutes was almost up so our lunch...finally appeared. We’d ordered a shared platter and some extra salad and it was (almost) worth the wait – falafel, hummus, chorizo, haloumi, capsicum dip, prosciutto, kimchi, carrot, and nice lightly toasted bread with a decent olive oil.More

Food was good , view was good , staff and service was good. Manager was downright rude . ….. seems to be par for the course according to other reviews. Get rid of her !!!! She lets the whole place down

My friends and I stood outside Swell and I proudly told them how many awards Swell had won. Well SWELL no more. When we entered the restaurant was virtually empty. We waited at least 5 minutes before any of the staff even glanced at us....A waiter then approached and informed us that only the manager could seat us, so we waited a further 5 minutes. Once the manager deigned to approach us she was clearly unimpressed by the fact that we only wanted coffee. She was so rude to us that we left! What she did not know is that I was reviewing the restaurant with a view to hiring the entire place for my 70th birthday. Definitely not!More

I don’t normally write reviews but felt I needed to after our day at the Swell yesterday. Frustratingly her name escapes but we had the most fantastic waitress ever. We had a wedding party of 12 yesterday and our waitress absolutely made the day for...us. The service was absolutely impeccable. The lady looking after us was extremely welcoming, attentive chatty and friendly and honestly the best service I’ve ever received she was a super star. Not only that but everyone said how delicious all the meals and desserts were. The menu was fantastic I wanted to try everything. I will be coming back and recommending the Swell to everyone. The setting over looking the beach it does not get any better. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon.More
