This restaurant was close to the hotel so we went in for dinner with clients. The food was excellent and so was the wait staff. Would recommend.

We asked hints from the hotel for dinner restaurant. They gave couple of options and this was one of them. I think we were there quite late as it was almost empty and we finished they close the restaurant. Food was nice and service worked well too

We enjoyed the atmosphere and the food was delicious. The Bacalao had plenty of cod pieces with the tomatoes and potatoes. The cooked cod was also delicious, with boiled potatoes, and presented nicely. The prices were high, even for Norway, but the atmosphere and service were good.

The food is good, bt the service is somehow lacking in expertise. In my world, White Wine and Red Wine are two different drinks. Otherwise, good food and a nice location. Kristiansund is a very friendly small city with nice nature and people. Well worth a visit.

Sjøstjerna can fish and fish dishes. Particular mention the local klippfisk ( salted and dried cod). Good meat dishes are also served. It's a great experience to enjoy the meal in Sjøstjerna. Do not pull from Kristiansund without a visit to Sjøstjerna.

This restaurant specialises in Klippfisk and if you're in Kristiansund, you have to try it. My bacalao was very good and filling. Well recommended.
