That place is very good for family . Very good taste all the time but small mistakes also happen . good place for good time

Good food and a very wide choice that should suit everyone. Food was quick and good value. All staff speak English and are very helpful. The place is a bit like a British pub but without people going just to drink.

The restaurant was very full when we arrived, but that didn't seem to be a problem. The service was good and our food arrived far quicker than imagined. And it was very good! Of all Egons I've been to, the Egon burger at this place...was absolutely superb! The other people in my party was also very happy with their meals. The only draw back was that our table was rather jammed in between two other tables, so it felt quite tight.More

Place is quite cozy and fish soup was very tasty - totally worth the price. Staff was friendly and helpful

The food at Egon is for family and people in a hurry. There is nothing special with the food. The food is a good average. You have to order everything you want in the bar, and the waiter will bring the food to your table.

It's not my first visit here, and the place isn't all bad. Very average café style food. You order at the counter after finding a table and making a note of its number. Fine. I wasn't looking for fine dining. Then I made my mistake....I ordered a Thai Red Curry Chicken. The plate arrived with a tiny amount of Red Curry barely covering the bottom of my plate. There were two pieces of flattened Chicken in the Curry. Now, the word "in" isn't entirely accurate. The Chicken was less than a centimeter thick and there was not enough Curry on the plate to cover it. It came with som Pak Choy two thin slices of Paprika and a couple of other veggies. The Chicken was cooked well but basically tasteless. The Curry had a tiny amount of heat to it, barely noticed after eating a bit, and the taste of Curry was subtle. And that is NOT a good thing. A Red Curry should be anything but subtle. It should pack punches of flavor. After eating a Red Curry there should be no doubt that you just ate a Red Curry. Trying to refine a traditional bowl of curry is a mistake if you can't improve on the "traditional" bowl of lots of chunky chicken bits swimming in lots of in-your-face Curry. Not saying it has to be insanely spicy, but has to have "bags of flavor". It must be unapologetic Curry. Not a pathetic whisper of "I think I wanna be a Curry when I grow up. I ended the meal with a pancake with salty caramel ice cream, salty caramel sauce and blueberries. The salty caramel ice cream didn't have much of neither salt nor caramel, but the sauce was nice. I think the ice cream was store bought, but otherwise the dessert was OK. Just OK though. Service was good though. Very friendly staff. Conclusion: the food at Egon doesn't quite reach restaurant quality, though they try.More

Nice interiour, good food and fast service. Nothing fancy, just good food and drinks at ok prices. You will always find something tasteful in their menu.
