I love thai food and this restaurant offered me some of the best and most tasteful thai meals I ate in Europe. Welcoming staff and nice and clean place.

The menu has one full vegetarian/vegan page, plus the starters can be vegan by request, we had some vegan springrolls. The main course was really very tasty, one dish deep-fried vegetables, one vegetables and tofu from the WOK, with an exorbitant amount of garlic in it, clearly announced in the dish description. Enough rice on the plate, with the promise... More

To my delight, Thai cuisine seems to be very popular in Norway and there are about 10 independent Thai restaurants in the greater Trondheim area (and in some surprisingly obscure backwater places). Many are bigger, or fancier in decoration, but as far as food/taste, my wife and I keep going back to the Bangkok Cafe. The food offerings are simple,... More

A little cheaper than other Thai places in town but still excellent food. They have several vegan options and you can eat in or take away. The restaurant is quite small but they have a nice area where you can take your shoes off and sit on cushions on the floor with your feet dangling down below!

Looking for Thai food in Trondheim. Or just out for a dinner or lunch? This is one of the must visits in Trondheim. Authentic kitchen with Thai staff, basic, unpretentious interiors and just great food. Very reasonable considering the country.

We went here as we really wanted Asian food. The food was ok, but as we have cooked some Asian food ourselves, we expected it to be a little bit better than this. However, the ginger drink that I ordered was amazing! I would go back here again and try something else and also have the ginger drink!

Ok ish food! Not my first choice for Asian food in the city but not bad! Cheap and cheerful and the staff are friendly! OK for those on a budget and don't mind eating from a plastic microwave tray!

Reliably good Thai restaurant, self-order at the counter. Their homemade ginger drink is worth a try. Food good (but tame by most Thai flavour standards although you can ask for extra chili etc).

If you don't know where it is, you could easily walk past and miss out big time. So glad we stopped in here.. time was around 3pm, so a bit of a weird time but we had a sort of pre-dinner, post-lunch feed. It was great. The prices were low, the quality was high. The air was thick with chilli... More

So, when I lived in Trondheim I ate here at least once a month. Been back a few times after I moved and it is still good. This is not fine dining, but authentic Thai food in a cafeteria. Easily the best Thai food I've had in Norway.
