Had an evening to myself in Oslo. Enjoyed walking along the river - to find Cafe Benjamin but that was shut. This place was right next door - and I was delighted with my dinner there. Food was excellent. Everything came really quickly and was...More

I was pretty lonely and desided to go out for a while. I was just lusting for a glass of red wine and some delish food. Tripadvisor directed me to deli, and I must say, this is the most exstrordinairy meal I have ever eaten....More

A nice but busy place in a lively part of Oslo. Me and my date was seated at the bar for a late night dinner. The food was good but fairly expensive, everything was tasty apart from the chicken I ordered. (But it was the...More

We had planned to eat at the place next door, but it was closed and this was the first decent looking place we could find. The service was not very personable. I think this was more of an issue with our English and her lack...More

Real authentic Spanish cousine and flavours. Very tasty dishes. The Angus is a killer. So are the bikini toasts - as simple as they are gorgeous. We tried Delicatessens own Cava. Yes, it was a dry and nice one too. Friendly and helpful staff. Fast...More

Best tapas restaurant in town but only when it comes to dinner. Very crowded and no reservations so be there an hour before you want to eat so they can put you on a waiting list. Do not plan a lunch here, I have had...More

Hi! I´m sorry the experience during lunch doesn't meet the expectations. We take the critique to heart. We hope you will give us another go sometime in the future.

Lovely selection of food. Menu not extensive - so we ended up ordering all the vege options - delicious and filling.

The restaurant is small and coze, quite full on a monday, good sign. The service is ok, attentive and helpful. The tapas are good; the tapas of the day was great (surf'n'turf), well presented and tasty. Make sure to get around 4-5 to be full....More

Description
Delicatessen Grunerlokka serves Spanish tapas made from a combination of Norwegian and Spanish ingredients. We pride ourselves on using the best ingredients available. I.E. All of our fried food is fried in Extra Virgin Olive Oil from Montabes in Jaen, Andalucia. The Montabes oils are known for their high level of antioxidants and actually adds flavor and nutrients to the food. This is an expensive way to fry food but only the best is good enough for us. All of our hams come from specially selected producers. Our main supplier of hams is Casalba in Burgos. At Casalba knowledge of how to make the finest hams, chorizo etc has been passed down for several generations. We are proud to be able to offer their world class products to our customers. We aim to create a relaxing atmosphere with great food combined with the best tintos, blancos and rosados Spain can offer.
