I had high expectations to this restaurant, but I found the food (I ordered the fish) rather tasteless and boring. The staff was really friendly and professional. The restaurant itself is beautiful and classy.

Had some Australian friends come over and wanted to find something very Norwegian. This place hit the spot. There was good choices on the menu of unique Norwegian things like whale and reindeer. The presentation and taste was outstanding. If you have some money to...More

Leaning strongly towards local produce, this restaurant is one of Oslo's elite restaurants. Don't miss it if your budget allows Norwegian gourmet.

I arranged a dinner on behalf of an international group visiting Oslo, and the choice fell upon Oslo Spiseforretning. The restaurant is not in an area you typically would look for, if visiting for a day or two. But is well worth the short (3-4...More

Good restaurant, decent winelist, not to pricey. Traditional Norwegian food with some sophisticated elements and international cuisine added in.

This restaurant sits in the oldest part of Oslo, right where the origins of the city were founded centuries ago. Don´t be fooled by the "odd location" - this part of Oslo is under heavy reconstruction and will be a nice place in a few...More

Central location, good food and friendly staff. Public transportation a short distance. Calculate some latency, but may be worth it!

I think it is wonderful to be able to eat genuine Norwegian food which is well presented and tastes excellent, and compared to the high prices in general in Norway, I do not think the restaurant is very expensive. The staff is really service minded.

Restaurant over three floors, where tradition and innovation come face to face. Working alongside small-scale producers that supply quality ingredients, the restaurant offers the delicious taste of pure Norwegian food, while an ever-changing menu and modern combinations ensure a touch of creativity. The wine list is varied, with something for every taste and wallet. The interior and colours in the main restaurant retain the style of the building when it was established in around 1925. Open-air café in the summer.
