Amazing local food. Had Jerusalem Artichoke Soup with the Pork Terrine, The Rove fish with Ratatouille as entre, the veal fillet with pepper sauce polenta and sauté cabbage, and desert hazelnut Brownie with vanilla cream sauce. Washed down with the local dark beer. 👌

Down, on the ground, exellent place to dine. Very common interiour, top service. We had a five gang compond menu, very good combination, and our servant came up with a suggestion fore a winepacket. All over very good food, service a matching wine. I reccomend this place to others.

I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. The food was exceptional, the wine was delicious, and the service was attentive but not overbearing. I will definitely be going back during my upcoming trip to Oslo.

A lovely restaurant in Grünerløkka. These people know what they're doing. The place has a lot of charm, and it welcomes you with open arms, whether you arrive in jeans with a few mates for a laid back night out, or in a fancy dress with your partner for a stylish celebration. The food is amazing, and are paired perfectly... More

Delicious food and excellent wines. The waiters know very well how to select or discuss wines suitable to your plate and palate. Combined it makes for a perfect meal. I left happy.

Excellent location, took a little too long to be seated even though we didn't have reservation. Fantastic food, wine list and sommelier. An absent-minded waiter excused himself a few times, but we thought once was enough, after that you concentrate. Wine prices were better than many other restaurants in Oslo.

Friendly place with superb selection of wines, knowledgeable waiters to pour it and good food to follow. Recommended to pass an easy evening This is not a cheap place, you can easily get to 700-1000 NOK per person for meal +wine. However it is good value.

We, my wife and I, visited this French-inspired restaurant with two couples from the US. With its small rooms, it may appear a little cramped, but we got an excellent, corner table. We ate the three-course meal of the day consisting of pasta, slow-roasted pork and a dessert. The waiter insisted on choosing the appropriate wines to go with the... More

Our hotel recommended that we get away from the port area and try Markveien. The service was terrific. These guys know their wines, and they do wine flights with the tasting menus. One of our group is seriously lactose intolerant, and they made sure that he ate as well as the rest of us.

Since the very beginning, 20 years ago, this restaurant in Oslo's Grünerløkka has been renowned for its excellent food, wide selection of wines and friendly service. Business people relax in the homely atmosphere for a good meal and friends gather for an informal evening out. The menu features lamb and crayfish as specialities, when in season. Next door is Norway's very first winebar, Dr. Kneipp's, with a wine list of hundreds of vintages, and a very reasonably priced dish of the day.
