There might be only a few other spots which can be better than Grefsenkollen Restaurant in terms of panoramic view over Oslo fjord. The sight from there is simpy dreamy ! Such a great reward after an awesome hike in Lillømarka (or a cross-country ski session) : sip your coffee in a really picturesque venue, where the waiters wear the... More

The 5 course menu is a great experience in trying different flavors from scallops with artichoke, walnut and capers-beurre blanc to beetroot soup with goat cheese, beets and dill. The Gooseberries with vanilla and ginger ice cream is also very tasty. The atmosphere tries to reproduce an old country house on the top of Grefsen hill. At night, the view... More

If you are looking for a "Belvedere" of Oslo, this is the right place. A little bit hard to reach the restaurant but worth it. Good restaurant, recommended in Michelin guide 2016. Also the place of a music festival in the summer.

This restaurant perched on the top of Grefsen offers stunning views over Oslo. The interior is rustic and comfortable and service great. We had a 3 course fixed menu. The starter was Hake with a ratatouille source. The fish was slightly on the cold side, but the flavoursome sides made up for it. The food for all courses was beautifully... More

My husband and I, along with two other couples, dined at the historical Grefsenfollen Restaurant on a Saturday evening. We chose the location because of its reputation of having a wonderful view of the city of Oslo and the Oslo Fjord. Indeed the view of the sunset and city was lovely, but the best part of the evening was the... More

Wonderful view, nice place. In summer it is rather different to how it is the rest of the year. More low key cheap stuf, order at the bar and only pizza. Still worth a trip though. (In winter it is a more high end restaurant.)

I never regret coming back here. The view is spectacular, the building is romantic, the food is excellent and the service is outstanding, meaning efficioent, quick and friendly. Not to be missed!

This restaurant, overlooking the Norwegian capital, gives you everything; top food, nice staff, amazing view and traditional architecture. Hard to get up there unless you have a car, buses are not that frequent, but really worth the trip.

boyfriend and i had a lovely time amid the weather. we were at the Terrassen. Pizza was good. atmosphere was awesome. one thing i can comment negatively on is that we had to order from the bar, so it was constant walking to and fro all the time. they serve it on your table, but when you're a bit far... When I booked our reservation for the Grefseskollen I have to admit it was primarily for the view out over the Oslo Fjord,, and the fact that they were Michelin-starred was a bonus that meant the meal would be dependably good. I was truly not prepared for the experience that a six-course meal at the Grefseskollen is! Masterfully crafted dishes,... More
