We were welcomed pretty much straight away, and were led to our table. The dining room is pleasantly lit, and despite its initially crowded feel, the table felt really private. The make their own bread which you get before your courses, which you can dip...More

We had a lovely visit, with four conservative eaters who were content with lasagne and ice cream, and two who tried delicious recommendations. Not the cheapest dinner in town but well worth it and a lovely atmosphere.

Nowhere in Oslo is really cheap to eat and alcohol is expensive everywhere compared to other places in Europe. I consider Ruffinos to be "fine dining" and it is very good - but is priced accordingly. A prosecco aperitif... More

No parking that we saw, but it's located on a corner close to the main commons area in the city center, just a few blocks away from the National Theater, where I believe there's a subway stop.
