There is sushi, chinese food, salad, even desert! Delicious and fresh food! Place is, well, a hall, but still quite nice!

Eating in Oslo is expensive, so this place may save your budget for a meal. Make sure to go before 3pm, nice options of dishes and atmosphere

Food can be very expensive in Oslo and you might end up paying way to much for way to less, leaving the restaurant almost as hungry as when you got there. At Posthallen you will get a buffet for a good price and with a great selection. I have heard that their Christmas food is so-and-so. I have not tried... More

For the price (169 NOK), really a good choice for lunch in Oslo. The restaurant is in an old historical building and consists of several different rooms. Quite cozy. In summer it is possible to sit outside as well. Good service and the buffet was quite good.

We came here on Saturday after 2 o'clock, Buffet is working untill 3 o clock, but there was no people eating, only one table was busy. But we found many things to try, in Chinese food buffet. Food was tasty, warm. I liked Sushi, meat dishes, sea food dishes. Only thing, that desert was left only some oranges and 2... More

We were a group of 15 people having our Christmas party/dinner at Posthallen. The menu consisted of different Norwegian Christmas food. The food (except for the dessert) did disappoint. Most of us had the Pinnekjøtt (lamb) for main course and it did really disappoint us. The meat was soggy and tasteless and with a lot of fat. So if you... More

This is kind of a forgotten place , but does not deserve to be. The food is solid and good if not remarkable. The daily 3 course is at a reasonable price, portions are solid and the cooking is quality. My Arctic char served with green pea and mint puree and saffran foma was actually a very good dish and... I'm not one to write reviews, but I just finished the best meal I've had in a LONG time and feel compelled to share. I had the halibut with beet risotto and saffron sauce - simply divine!! My son had the duck "5 stars" and my husband had the duck "light, delicate, very good." The service is impeccable. Because of... More

Ate here with my colleges on a trip related to work. The surroundings gives a good atmosphere (the building used to be a post office), but it is also a bit unpersonal. The food was just ok. They've used too much balsamico together with the beef meat and the food was served cold. Not impressed.
