Very nice indeed. The Broker offers atmosphere from the moment you enter the double doors. A buzzing and quite charming locale. Who knew that crustal chandeliers and wooden Brasserie style furniture - well, some padded chairs and bench along the wall, could be so inviting. Very eclectic crowd from family (grown up children) couples best friends and more. Very nice... More

Our party of three arrived a little after 11 p.m. for a drink. We waited perhaps five minutes before a waiter appeared, and I asked if they did not live by doing sales. The waiter disappeared and after another five minutes we called at the bar for another waiter. When this waiter appeared, we expressed a slight frustration of not... More

Had a fantastic caesars salad - it's not a classic one - but I loved it. Nice place - but was almost empty (Wednesday at lunch (11.15-12.15). Probably packed at other times.... super nice service.

It`s been a while since I was here, but I do remember they had good burgers and good beer. it`s also a very cozy place to sit and a perfect pit stop from the busy shopping street outside.

This is one of the old good Places where there are always a lot of People, so it is busy and the service could be more efficient, but the staff is Nice and friendly when they show up. Both the Fish Soup and the salad With salmon and avocado were very tasty.

The Broker offers a ambience and very old style interior. The food is good. Staff is good. Location excellent. They have an interesting meny and bar. It's well worth a visit. They also have some outside tables and they offer a great view to people stressing by in Oslo's most famous shopping street Bogstadveien.

Sit out front under the awnings. The view at the tram stop is nice. If you like to people watch, this is the place to be. Service is ok, but well worth the visit.

Me and my friends went to The Broker for the famous fish soup we heard about. So last Sunday on a perfect rainy day we decided to have the soup. I can tell you that is the most flavor full seafood experience on a plate. The plate filled, with the sea and its creates, the mussels, shrimps, bits of salmon,... More

Description
Nice neighbourhood restaurant and pub in Oslo's main shopping street, Bogstadsveien. A wellknown meeting spot with soul and atmosphere, and a history dating back to 1885. Since then, the premises have been housing both a pharmacy and a bakery. As a restaurant, The Broker has been an informal and popular hang out place with many musicians and artists among its regular guests. The newer Broker retains a classic, brown interior, decorated ceilings and large chandeliers. The Broker has a good selection of beer, wine and liquor, preferably from smaller Norwegian producers. It has of course a great selection of tasty dishes on the menu as well. Everything is made from scratch and based on seasonal ingredients. Atmosphere and friendliness is Brokers trademark. The Broker has the ability to make you feel relaxed and welcome - and once you have been there, chances are you'll repeat the visit.
