Although we didn't have reservations, the staff squeezed us in at the Stammtisch and we enjoyed Zweibelrostbraten and local beer. The staff was great and we would recommend reservations on the return trip since it's in the theater district.

What a super place! Great atmosphere yet managed to squeeze us in on a Saturday night. Very efficient waiting staff and delicious schnitzel! Highly recommended.

I never thought that the best dish I will have in Vienna will be a risotto; this was a special one with beetroot juice, goat cheese and pine nuts. Absolutely amazing! I also had pumpkin soup and creme brûlée for dessert - both were excellent....More

The dinner was very delicious. Pumpkin ragout with cheese is the best one! Очень вкусная кухня, тыквенное рагу с сыром и картофельный шницель просто объедение.

I had a lovely dinner with my wife. Nice local food: we had gansleber, kalbswienerschnitzel and goulash. As dessert we had bread pudding. Friendly place, homemade food and nice service: Mr Gunter delivered a top service advising as what to order. We’ll be back.

Gmoakeller is one of the oldest taverns/restaurants in Vienna. Cuisine is traditional typical Viennese. Food tastes amazing, only fresh and high quality products of the season are served. Service is very friendly and helpful. Cosy and nice atmosphere.

Waited 2 hours for dinner which then arrived cold. Waiter ignored us. Schnitzel had no flavor and lacked seasoning. Very disappointed with this place.

When asking one of my Viennese friends about where to find the best Schnitzel in Vienna, the answer came in a rant about 'tourist restaurants' and how they serve chicken or pork schnitzels. For a true Viennese experience, said he, one must have Schnitzel am...More

Local Viennese fare with an atmosphere that feels like a diner. Not a bad spot to grab a quick drink outside on the terrace, but I would not venture out of my way to visit.

Don't think so, I was with smokers and they went outside - they have heaters set up in winter where smokers go. Check with them - the place is big so maybe they have a seperate space. Out of interest, I was at another decent... More

When we visited we just walked up and were seated right away without any wait. The restaurant did seem to fill up quickly some with big groups. That being said it is very close by a concert hall and may be busy before a... More
