It's a modern place with a great choice of breakfasts, very friendly staff, good prices, a cozy atmosphere and big windows to look out.

Just jumped in for a wine at the end of the day. The bar was open till 02.00 am, we were served at 01.20 am. The waiter was really nice (probably the friendliest I've met in the city), he offered his favorite wine (surprisingly not the most expensive one) what was really delicious. Very professional guy. We got free snacks... More

Get ready for a long wait. Even with a half empty restaurant and 3 waiters the wait was beyond acceptable. 40 minute waiting time for two beers and 40 minutes for the bill. The bar itself looks lovely and the location is good, but the service is horrendously bad.

Lovely place, great location, above Maria Hilfer st. A great place to have coffee or lunch while resting your feet from shopping or museum gazing. Quiet, with lovely background music. Very chic atmosphere. Highly recommended!!!

Really good bar with jazz/blues music - open all day until late. Good value for money and a large range of drinks.

Great atmosphere. Good date spot. Good drinks, friendly (though a bit stretched thin) service. Fair prices. Would definitely be a regular if I lived in town.

We visited Vienna for a weekend to see the Xmas markets which were magical. We came across this coffee shop/bar when we stopped for coffee and a snack and were impressed enough to go back for breakfast which was good value and good choices available. We had an American breakfast which consisted of two fried eggs, hash browns, bacon, brown... More

Came to Lutz with my Mum a couple of times during our mini break to Vienna. Friday was not so good, staff took our orders then forgot our order so we had to 're-order'. Nonetheless we came back for a breakfast on Saturday morning. I had the American One..a lovely substantial breakfast and the service was great.

Went here for breakfast and was very impressed with the large number of breakfast options. I went for the bacon, eggs and toast with maple syrup. A great break from the typical big greasy breakfast or just the fruit.

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
