Went here for lunch as the close at 18:30 hours. Great sushi in one of the smallest restaurants of vienna at a reasonable price. Certainly worth waiting for.

Ok... My GF and I are addicted to raw fish on rice. We have travelled to Tokyo, West Coast USA, Australia, all over Europe and Asia. Tell you what, till now this small sushi restaurant ranks at no. 2 overall. Only beaten out by that tiny sushi joint at Skiji Fish Market in Tokyo (and maybe only because of the... More

In this small kiosk you will never find a free space - whenever you come is always full of people. But when you try their sushi you will understand the reason why. Kojiro made me addicted to sushi, whilst before I considered myself as a "meat-man". So if you decide to follow the advice and go there then you must... More

And I am not a novice in sushi hunting. Haven't yet been to Japan but have tried lots of sushi places in Canada, USA and Europe. Kojiro bar has the best sushi quality. The fish is so fresh, the rice dissolves in your mouth, and the whole sushi assembly does not fell apart when you take it with chopsticks and... More

…wait for the grand finale and that is when the firs taste strikes you. I admit when I first saw the joint I was kind of disappointed, but knowing my friends expertise in oriental food I knew there won’t be any unpleasant surprises. When it comes to the taste of food the place could compete with best London's sushi places.... More

After months of looking forward to trying this place, I had the opportunity today on a business trip to Vienna. I am terribly torn about this review and the reason is quite simple: - The fish was A+++++++++. Some of the freshest sushi I have ever had. Just wonderful. - The rice was...inedible. Mushy, creamy, pasty... I ordered nigiris and... More

Really good sushi at very good price. The one in Naschmarkt is more a stand than a restaurant, but they have open a new place with tables to sit down and even a small outside area, with more dishes. My favorite choices are the Kojiro Special, and in the new bar, the Regenbogen Maki (Rainbow Maki), which is absolutely superb!

This is a very small sushi bar adjacent to Naschmarkt. Food is expertly prepared at the counter by japanese chefs and of excellent quality (obviously, you'll find better sushi in Japan, but in Vienna, you won't). There are just a few bar-stools and obviously the place gets packed very easily, especially at lunch time. Prices are relatively high but perfectly... More

With so many sushi restaurants in the city it should be difficult to say which one offers the best sushi, but Kojiro is the only one that you could compare with a sushi bar in Japan. The rice has the right consistency and temperature. Fish is very fresh and has a firm flesh.

I was in Vienna studying for over a month and just happened to run across the reviews on TripAdvisor a couple of days before leaving. It looks like dive, but the food is absolutely authentic and amazing. I was a little skeptical of the reviews that said it was the best sushi ever...but seriously, it's authentic Japanese, the fish is... More
