I came here despite its location (2nd District which is a bit out of the way for me) because of previous reviews. I was not disappointed. Small and comfortable, it appeared to me in great demand for lunch because of surrounding offices. I ordered the fish/meat lunch which came complete with an excellent soup, sashimi, salad, hot clams with shrimp,... More

This is a good place for easy going fancy sushi, they really work on the menu to keep it colorful. good feeling about the freshness of the seafood and specially with the possibility to make a big sushi dish with so many good options.

I gone there with my family. It was the first time for my mother she had Japanese food and she liked a lot. Everything was in order (the food and the prices). I highly recommend this restaurant and I would visited again.

We went to Kosu for a Friday lunch and ordered the Luxury menu, one with fish and one with meat main course. The both include a very clever fish and seafod soup, served in a tea pot. The main course then consists of a small salad, an assortment of sushi and sashimi, the fish or meat main course with rice... More

On our first night in Vienna we go to Kosu, which is located 50 meters fromour hotel. WE know what to eat! Dobin Mushi soup and the heavily laden "ship" with sahshimi, sushi and maki. Superb as previously! (maintaing high quality along the years is not an obvious phenomenon. Good for them). One improvement from last year: There was no... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighbourhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city centre and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theatres, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
