Really surprised by the quality of the food here. I found the restaurant almost empty and i never heard about it, so i was not expecting much.. i was just super-hungry. But result was amazing. Quality of food is very high, even compared with more "famous" alternatives around the corner :) The bad side was the service and the atmosphere,... More

I had sea bass, my wife had fried large prawns. My friends had beef steak and salmon steak. Food and appetizers were high quality and tasty.

Stumbled across this place by accident and quite glad we did. The waiter was (once again a bit superior with us), which appears to be a trait in Vienna. However, he did melt a bit as we got further acquainted. A good selection of food on offer, and when it came everyone enjoyed it. Service was fine and no complaints.

The recommended to us with t eh promise the food was really good. Well, the service was great. Food was very badly presented and the the sauces of our steaks were like if they were taken out of a package, the ones that come as dried power you add water to it. The outside area is quite pleasant. All in... More

We found this lovely restaurant while sight-seeing. The staff were excellent! The food was fantastic. It was a lovely experience. As by the name, they serve steaks, hamburgers, fries and other amazing dishes.

I guess they can't advertise "children not welcome" but the attitude of the waiters makes it pretty clear. I shld have left when ordering, but thought maybe there was a language difference. We were told no food could be changed to children's portion, no kids menu, didn't bother to serve the wine we ordered (although it was on the bill).... More

Visiting as a small group of friends. Food was good, schnïtzel was fantastic, both veal and pork varieties. Staff was friendly, polite and knowledgable. Service was also very good. Would recommend. Prices are reasonable.

Sat down here for a drink after spending the day in Wien. The waitor greeted us grumpily and arrogant. After 20 mins we tried to get his attention to pay. He kept ignoring us, even after making direct eye contact. Had to go inside to get the check. Tried to pay with card, because we needed our cash for later.... More

We found the staff very knowledgable about wine. We explained the type of wine we enjoyed with red meat but we wanted to try an Austrian red. Both the wine and the food was excellent. My husbands rib eye was melt in the mouth. Very enjoyable experience.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
