Managed to get a table without a reservation when the restaurant was very busy. Good friendly service and a menu that has a number of specials in addition to the freshly made pizzas and Italian classics. The Italian sausage with pumpkin sauce was tasty and the pizza a good size with good toppings. A relaxing evening enjoyed by all.

Wonderful dinner! The waiter had the chef make me a special dish that was not on the menu. We had the bruschetta and the lasagna as well. All delicious.

The atmosphere here was nice and busy, it was quite dark so cosy despite being a fair size. The pizzas were good and the bill was reasonable (two pizzas and a bottle of nice red wine for a bit less than 50 Euros). The service was pleasant and prompt. We observed that they aim to turn the tables pretty quickly... More

If you wish to have good pizza, freshly prepared on the spot, this is your place. It is not big, the tables are very close to each other and you hear only the noise of people talking around you. Otherwise it has good location (next to Museums quartier), good service and affordable pizza prices. I tried other things on the... More

We went to this restaurant because it was not so far from our hotel and the reviews were very good and I have to say that is a great restaurant. The carpaccio was fresh and then the main dishes were delicious (tagliatelle with clams and an Italian chicken with capers). We finished with profiteroles and a great Italian coffee. Without... busy, talkative restaurant near Sans Souci hotel in an excellent area of Vienna. The employees are constantly busy, foods being eaten and enjoyed with pleasure.

We asked our hotel for a casual Italian restaurant that was nearby - they suggested I Ragazzi. It is a small(ish) neighbourhood restaurant that serves pasta/pizza etc. We were somewhat hesitant but our fears were quickly quashed. The service was very good and so were our salads and pasta. This is not a fancy place, nor do they try to... More

The staff here were very friendly. The restaurant has a nice cosy feel and is quite lively with a mixed age clientele. The food was excellent - homemade minestrone soup, grilled salmon (huge portion) and great pizza. Draught beer, quaffable house wine and limoncella on the house at the end. €80 for 2 including tip - good value and a... More

Staying in Neubau

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
