We asked our hotel for a restaurant that provided medium priced local cuisine. This place really delivered. Simple dishes with high quality ingredients, perfectly prepared. The local mushrooms sautéed with spinach and the Vienna schnitzel were great. Very helpful friendly service. Loved it!

For our mains, we had an excellent Milchlamm with Baerlauchgnocchi and an equally excellent Zwiebelrostbraten. Dessert was another triumph - Mohnsouffle with...More

This restaurant is typical of a viennese local restaurant; the food is delicious (Austrian delicious asparagus cooked in various different ways, good cooked pork and the apple strudel and the raspberry strudel are simply delicious) and the service is helpful once you smile at them.

I visited Oswald & Kalb for the first time 5+ years ago on my previous trip to Wien. Now returning to that interesting city I recalled the great dinner at Oswald & Kalb and checked in at Hotel Parkring nearby. And yes – the Wienerschnitzel...More
