No matter how good is their food, but I would never go there again because of the worst service I’ve experienced ever, since I live in Europe. Discriminate against Asian and the server add the tips without informed us. Then when we argued for that, he...More

This is the place I'm coming over and over, because of exceptional quality of food and service. The Tafelsplitz is so good it makes you remember similar taste from childhood.

I had high expectations of authentic Viennese cuisine on our recent trip. But this restaurant was disappointing to a foodie like myself. I chose it because of the good reviews. It is known for a dish called Tafelspitz which is really boiled beef with a...More

My wife and I ate here on a warm summer evening and sat on the enclosed patio. The food was very good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. It is not cheap but very good for a holiday evening out. It was a shame that they...More

This restaurant is a very unique experience. It has all the best meals of the typical viennese cuisine. I strongly advise the Tafelspitz as main dish. There are somme good desserts as well. The staff is very friendly and professional

We were visiting the churches in the vincinity and decided to have lunch at Plachutta. The place seems to be pretty popular and was quite crowded. We had the goose liver and Tafelspitz. Both tasted good, and the Tafelspitz was both tasty and filling.

Pros: - Tender meat (Tafelspitz) - Tasty broth and potatoes Cons: - Rude servers - If you are going to pay over 100€ for bread/butter, 1 appetizer, 1 main dish, and 1 bottle of wine, you would at the very least expect the service to...More
