Great to find a fish restaurant in Vienna. Recommended and booked by concierge. On arrival table was not ready, happy to wait a few minutes. Choice of fish excellent. Very good wine and starters, but then the problems started. We had ordered from catch of the day and after along delay queried status. Three different staff came over all with... More

The food here was very nice and very well prepared. The portions are generous! I shared a pasta dish (which is a starter) with my mother and that was enough for us. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and gave us great suggestions. They did not try to push us to order more. They suggested we share a pasta... More

The restaurant gives an atmosphere very elegant. Service is nice and quite rapid. We could enjoy different courses and everything from oysters to tuna was perfect. Wine selection is varied. Good quality price ratio. Really adviced

We visited Kornat for dinner. Kornat was primarily a fish restaurant with good quality wine. The servers were warm and friendly. The food was value for money. Overall a nice place and I would recommend visiting here.

Good fish restaurant with quality house wine. Tight and cosy atmosphere with a live singer. Friendly service and prices that will not ruin you

I booked to come here for cocktails for my mum's birthday last night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! The staff were lovely and made it an extra special occasion by bringing out complementary chocolates with Happy Birthday written on the plate in melted chocolate!

A very high quality seafood place. My only reservation was about the wine, since I did not find the wine list good enough to match the high quality of the fish. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

Be careful about fish price before you order, because gold is cheeper than the fish. Beside this the service is fine and the atmosphere is good. The fish price it trap !!

We like seafood and we had different experience during the last 2 months. One time it was one of the best seafood dinners, the next time the fish was acceptable but nothing special. It can be very noisy and service sometimes is very slow.

Found this restaurant for this year's Valentine's Day and brought my wife here. I did not regret it. Yes, it is what you expect from an exclusive restaurant in Vienna's first district, but besides the high prices the quality of food is great, the service is very good, the atmosphere is fine and the variety of dishes is great. Unfortunately... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
