Good desert, the server was so rude it ruined everything and the sweet desert went sour in our mouth. If you go, take it away.

We went on a super hot day and there were serpentine lines. Made me feel worth it when after 30 mins of waiting and another 30 mins inside the restaurant we finally got space. But no respite. The food is below par, expensive, just inedible...More

We first went here the day before leaving Vienna. If I make it back to Vienna again, I will want go there every day, for as long as I can. We were on the second floor, rather than the more spectacular ground floor, but the...More

We popped in for a cake and coffee one afternoon and stood in line upstairs for about 20 minutes. The cake selection is in a dinghy plastic case, unlike the glorious one down stairs. We had to wait for someone to come to the cake...More

It's always crowded, and if you can not get inside to sit, just get the apple strudel to go. 4 euro a piece. It is very good. If you are in Vienna, you have to try its apple strudel. Their chocolate cake is also very...More

Last day in Vienna, so decided to pop into Demel before we left. It was around 10-ish and we managed to get seats inside. The pastry chefs are clearly visible behind glass doors and panels, so it was really interesting to see them at work....More

Popped in here for a quick coffee and a bun before visiting the crypt at St. Michael's Church. Great coffee, great buns, fast friendly service. If you need coffee and a bun and you're nearby, you should drop in. We enjoyed the place.

I really wanted this place to be exquisite. The storefront, the decor builds it up as if the food will be equally as amazing. Unfortunately their pescatarian/vegetarian options are minimal and the food tastes like 1990s airplane food, rather than delicate Viennese dishes. The desserts...More

First of all the portions are much smaller in Europe so you wont' get as much as in the USA unless you are talking espresso which is sounds like you aren't. Why not just get a cappuccino which is coffee with milk?
