I had dined at this Vienna 1* 2 years previously and had a fantastic experience, hence was eager to return. Unfortunately, although prices had risen the offering had become a little less. The food was imaginative, excellently prepared and tasted fantastic. In contrast to some other reviewers the mostly young staff were extremely warm and attentive. The bottom line however... More

I had quite high expectations as Konstantin got a lot of good press and one star Michelin is normally a pretty good indicator that one can expect a fabulous experience both on the culinary front and the level of attention. In short the food was simply incredible and each dish (including amuse-bouche) were delightful. We especially loved the langoustine dish,... More

We went there on a weekday for lunch. We ordered 4 course lunch with lots of complimentary dishes. From scallops, lobster , pigeon, cod , yogurt desserts to their homemade bread which was fresh and warm were excellent !! It is my best lunch in my last 8 days of trip in Austria ! Do go to their website to... More

We went for lunch and got to sit at the chef's table. I did the 4-course lunch with wine and my husband did the 6-course with 6 different wines. Every course was delicious, not to mention beautiful to see. Tediously prepared, colorful too. Mr. Filippou was very friendly as was his wife, the hostess. The sommelier was very knowledgeable about... More

The food here was very tasty. I don't believe I had a course that I did not enjoy. However, I doubt that I will remember most of the dishes a week from now. And for me, this sets apart average/good food from excellent food. However, I would still recommend this place if you want to go out and enjoy a... More

At the end of the day, the dining experience really amounts to the quality of the food, and this is majorly lacking, in my opinion. There is definitely a utilization of very interesting and unique flavors, but without any real purpose, leaving us unimpressed in the taste department. The food strays too much away from the basics, leaving a unique... More

I recently ate at a Michelin 3-star restaurant and must say this fine dining experience is moving toward 3-stars! The décor is a bit Spartan or Zen but one doesn't go there to see the décor. Every dish of our tasting menu was heavenly! I especially liked the veal! The service was what one would expect in this level of... More

A lovely experience in a relaxed yet sophisticated environment. All the staff, the greeter, the waiting staff, the sommelier and the kitchen staff take exceptional pride in every element. There is clearly a very strong team ethic at play with every member of the team working together in what is a very busy environment. We had the 6 course tasting... More

For me everything needs improvement. The staff very friendly but it was not at all professional (clumsy when serving, inappropriate laughs etc). Cozy and normal place but not something special. We had the set menu with the 6 courses which was unbalanced, with some dishes being really good (scallops, lobster, yogurt- dill desert) & others totally indifferent or even poor... More

Too much experimental works spoil the pleasure of dining... Tasteless ingredients eventually give a bad flavor to almost every course. And unfortunately your dinner ends up with a sky high bill… If you do have to go there, avoid wine paring ! This might be the world’s worst choices of wines. Michelin inspectors might have been on overtime when they... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
