We were very impressed with the quality of food at this restaurant with service to match. The waitress (who we believe must also be the owner) was excellent in managing to juggle many balls at the same time without letting the service levels suffer. The Szechuan chicken and noodles were delicious, as was the chicken fried rice. Would definitely return.

Lunch time, busy time but in case you get a table in this small Chinese restaurant you are rewarded with good "Chinese-European" taste food. Various menus are offered including soup or spring roll, vegetarian, meat or fish are available at moderate prices, drinks as usual in Austria are expensive. Good lunch deal.

Have come here a few times and enjoyed the food. The servings are large enough for me to be full, the price is reasonable and the food itself is quite good. As of yet, I've not found authentic, non-takeaway Chinese food I like better in Vienna. The staff are a bit indifferent and I can imagine there'd be some language... More

We found this restaurant when we were living in Vienna in the'90. After trying several Chinese restaurants we found the Mandarin and never changed again during our 5 years stay. Over the years we visited Vienna several times and a visit to the restaurant is a must on our list. The owners may have changed but definitely not the interior.... More

...but good food and friendly as well as fast service. To be honest, I am not a big fan of Chinese cuisine as found in Vienna and went there upon my lunch date's suggestion. The interior "design" is rather boring and dated and I was glad that the door was open as there was a distinct deep-fried smell lingering inside.... More

Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
