So, we were in the mood for great steaks and remembered there was this one Steakhouse we had not tried yet. However, at the end of the evening we were not really satisfied and kind of regretted not going somewhere else. Nothing really went wrong...but just the price we paid did not match the quality you would expect. It was ok... not more and not less…. The sweet potato was cold and the portion a joke. Half a sweet potato for that price, come on… generally the side dishes were really small and only lukewarm. Which is great if you like soggy vegetables. The steak looked lost on the HUGE white plate it was served on, with no garnish. The waiter, who tried his best under the mask, constantly forgot stuff. Just a lot of small things that should not happen when your food has that price tag. So, to summarize: There was no sparkle, no love! Whilst we were not hungry when we left, we were not really satisfied either. The only plus side, was the good wine and the good cheesecake. Overall, there are better places to eat.More

The food was very good. Service was great. As appetizer the staff brought us roastbeef and bread. Then we ordered the following: as Entrée: - Dstrikt Beef Tatar as Main dish: - Bio rack of lamb - Fillet of beef 180g - Dstrikt Burgerwith fries...The dessert: - Dstrikt Baked Cheesecake - Wachauer Apricot Financier The food tasted fantastic. I just think that the fillet of beauf and the rack of lamb should include a sidedish instead of ordering extras.More

You can expect Hotel Ritz to have a good breakfast and it has it! Buffet style with a la carte options. The quality, taste and super service. Definitely one of the best.

We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton Vienna after a river cruise on the Danube with our kids. Honestly, I think we were all pretty tired out after the cruise so we didn't venture off the property as much as we normally would have. As such, we...ate at the steakhouse inside the hotel one night and absolutely enjoyed ourselves. The food and service was great. The ambiance hit the right note given the expectation an American would have for a steakhouse. We were quite impressed. They did everything quite well and our family will definitely visit again when we go back to Vienna.More

This is not a restaurant for the budget conscious. it's higher end professional steak house. The cuts are goods, the meat is cooked to perfection and the service is impeccable. I personally found the dessert a little underwhelming, but it's a steak house after all....The fries are less exciting than advertised. They are done with Parmesan and truffle oil. There is a definite truffle taste though subtle. The Parmesan on the other hand consisted of 4 small balls of parmesan at the bottom of the fries. That could be improved - after all you're not catering to the budget conscious. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good steak (by Argentinian and South African steak standards which are higher than most other countries). My only disappointment is that they didn't offer fillet on the bone or T-bone steaks.More

Wonderful place to eat dinner on Christmas. The meal was fabulous and the atmosphere relaxing. Both my husband and I had the Waygu Beef and it was the best we have ever had. Highly recommend.

We dined here whilst on a weekend break to Vienna and we were very disappointed. We ordered the chateaubriand medium rare, this was under done. However, you could put this down to European cooking differing from the UK, though the steak came out cold. Side...orders were also a let down, Parmesan and truffle oil fries were nothing more than just basic fries, the side of variety carrots were so hard you could hardly bite them and the grilled vegetables were very average. To top the experience you then are charged €9 for bread put on your table with no choice & “cutlery”. We chose here thinking we could rely on the standards of the Ritz but were very much let down.More
