And I mean it when I say home-made: all preparations are made by the owner together with kitchen staff. That's perhaps why service is not as warm, but the food is so delicious that compensates for all. Recommended dishes: ravioli with ricota and spinach (d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s), penne alla matriciana, vegetable soup. Garlic bread was not something special. Prices were very good.... More

My favourite place to eat in Vienna and maybe in the whole of Europe. Laid back service but efficient and friendly. The food is excellent and the price is right. The staff know how to look after you no matter what time of day....lunch at three o clock? No problem.

Five of us visited the Noli for dinner at about 7. 30. There was just one other table occupied... so it was nearly empty. The waiter came for our order and brought drinks quickly. But then we waited... and waited.... and waited for any food to appear. It came eventually after 50mins. Credit where credit is due, though, and when... More

We were staying at the Adagio Hotel across the road and headed out into a wet and cold night looking for dinner. The Restaurant Pizzeria Noli was just across the road so we went in. It was quiet, the waiter was attentive and we were quickly served some very good pasta with a glass of wine and a beer followed... More

First of all, I just read some of the other reviews and my husband and I totally disagree. We loved this place so much we returned another night. Nothing we purchased seemed reheated or average. My husband is Italian and we've been to Rome twice, Venice, Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pisa, Florence, Sienna so I think we have a pretty good... More

It's run by a elderly couple. Very average pizza we found it too salty. Overall it's average pizza. We were expecting more authentic feel but didn't live upto expectations.

We stopped here as we were staying nearby and it was getting late, the owner was stood on the pavement trying to get business in. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the waitress did her best but didn't understand English that well. Hubby asked for vegetarian pizza and he got just that, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, courgette and... More

From outside the restaurant looks rather simple. Don't pass by because of that impression! After having your first drink, the warm light and classic Italian music will make you feel like you are in a small, old-fashioned Italian village. The restaurant has a very cosy atmosphere then. The food is fantastic! I really loved the Calamari and the Soups are... More

From the exterior this restaurant looks fairly poor. The interior decor is drab. However, the food was really excellent and the waiter very engaging and humorous. We were well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The menu is a classic range of pizza/pasta. The front door suggested they accept credit cards but they pleaded for cash! Well worth a... Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
