Discovered this through a friend and was very impressed. Cosy little restaurant with friendly service staff. Food was authentic and generous (Schnitzel, wild and Kaiserschmarren) and tasty. Attractively served. Each table is inside a little booth. I will definitely go there again with family. Prices...More

The restaurant served large portions of traditional Austrian food at reasonable prices. My wife and I liked everything we had. The duck entrée was probably the only thing that wasn't a strong point. Although the portion was quite substantial, it could have been more flavorful....More

I can't speak to their regular menu but the special Christmas Eve dinner was delicious, service was friendly, and they managed to get us a reservation the same day. Close to the Mercure near the Rathaus. Give it a try if in the area.

We had the 3 course set menu for Christmas Eve dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. Food was beautifully presented and generously portioned. The chestnut tiramisu was delicious! Service was friendly and efficient, we appreciated that the wait staff were able to speak English effortlessly.

We wanted a simple meal, a relaxed atmosphere, good service, no elaborate production, so our desk clerk recommended Marienhof. We were more than just satisfied: everything was just as we wanted. We both ordered Wienerschnitzel (veal) with a large beer - of course! For dessert...More

Not the restaurant hidden behind the formal facade but a shop type unit with nice booth type interior and young staff. We enjoyed the slightly more sophisticated take on Austrian cuisine and the admission of non Austrian wine.
