Definitely a must try in Vienna if you like Thai food! They have a big variety of dishes and till now I liked it every time I went there. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The restaurant is clean and elegant.

The restaurant is abit hidden away from the main street, but easy to find. The restaurant atmosphere is nice and cozy, we went there on a Saturday night around 10pm but still full of people. The restaurant is close around 11pm. The food portion is great for the price and delicious. I would recommend this place if you are looking... More

Friendly staff, cozy restaurant, very reasonable prices. However: is it Thai food? The springrolls were more Chinese than Thai, the curry was not very special and the other meal (chicken, with garlic and peppers) was more like an amateuristic stirfry then the real Thai dish. Spicy in this restaurant is not really spicy, according to my taste. But: good prices... More

It was the first time when I tried thai cuisine. I ate shrimps in coconut milk, vegetables and thai spices. The food was spicy and very tasty. The waiters didn't speak english so good and they inverted some dishes for my friends and also brought an extra dish that we didn't order. I visited the restaurant in February, there was... More

Went here by chance and ordered a dish with duck. It was excellent - many times restaurants overcook their roasted duck so its crispy on the outside and dry on the inside. This place however, made the duck just right - crispy on the outside and succulent on the inside. Portions were very generous as well. I recommend this place.

Enjoyed a nice dinner in the restaurant, however it is a bit crowded and the service felt a bit rushed and unattentive.

We enjoy thai food so tracked this restaurant down. Despite having read some reviews which mentioned the heat of the food we opted to go for the next level up from "mild" (as described by the waitress) A bit of a mistake, the heat was intense and we could also see the majority of the other customers struggling. Also cards... More

We went here to get a break from the normal "heavy" Austrian cuisine and were not disappointed. The curry was delicious and so was the Pad Thai. Also their soups were spot on with flavor. I love Thai food and am generally really picky and will say I was very happy with what we had. Also, its just a couple... More

Well, after being in Thailand many times and eating in some of the best Thai restaurants in Tel-Aviv and Europe - this one is fair, meaning it's good but it will not blow your mind away. Watch out - spicy means SPICY in this place. The place is not vented, your clothes and you will smell of Thai food for... More

Staying in Mariahilf

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s sixth district hosts high street shopping heaven and pedestrian area Mariahilfer Strasse. The weirdest local building is probably the city aquarium Haus des Meeres, housed in one of Vienna’s six remaining World War II defense towers, and topped with a rooftop bar that offers stunning views over Vienna and the centre. One of the most historic sites in the area is the passageway of 18th century Raimundhof with its small shops and cafés. It leads from Mariahilfer Strasse to Windmühlgasse. For a glimpse into the world of early 19th century theater, visit Semperdepot, the former depository for theatre decoration, which now hosts art exhibitions and fairs.
