The restaurant is very well organised with indoor smoking and indoor non smoking areas, also they have menus in English and German. I had the escalope of veal sautéed in butter with rice it was so good that I had to take my father the...More

Despite the exquisite location, that place has stayed as it was over the years - solid Austrian food for reasonable prices. What is special here is that both locals (e.g. from the nearby ministries) and tourists go the the restaurants and staff treats all of...More

On our first night in Vienna and we wanted to have a Weiner schnitzel because we figured that's what you should do in Austria. Leopold's schnitzel was perfect - tender white veal cooked to perfection. Unfortunately the potatoes let the meal down a little bit,...More

On overall this is a good place to have authentic Viennese food. However, sometimes what they serve is not exactly what is on the menu. It happened to me: I had ordered a Waldbeeren Strudel and had asked whether it's a hot dessert, the waitress...More

There's not much pretense here of high flown Viennese or Continental fare; it's mostly Viennese favorites competently delivered and served up by professional waiters. The rooms are pleasant and the location is great, near all the upscale Ring hotels.

Our hotel recommended this place for a traditional schnitzel dinner. Sadly it was a disappointing experience. Paper thin meat coated in thick crumb, and quite small portions (for Austria!). Plus quite poor service, few smiles and long waits for drinks and the bill. Try somewhere...More

This is allegedly one of the best Viennese restaurants serving traditional classic food in the City. Like a number of restaurant in Vienna the no smoking area is rather blurred so finding somewhere to sit when you suffer from Asthma is slightly more problematic here....More

After arriving in Vienna and looking for a traditional Austrian style restaurant we came across this place. We both had sausage style dishes on with shavings of horseradish and mustard -the other cauliflower cheese and potato gratin. Both we tasty and affordable. The area was...More

My husband and I came here for dinner on the hotel's recommendation. We thoroughly enjoyed the Wiener schnitzel. Since it was late, I was glad that I could order a half order. The apple strudel was also very tasty. Would recommend to people looking for...More
