Went here as part of restaurant week. The set menu consisted of a wonderful antipasto plate along with bread and a special extra virgin oil. Followed by sauteed branzino and red mullet fillets complemented with a light citrus sauce and vegetables. They were a testament to preparing good products without complicating the dishes. We also received a sliver of lemon... More

We booked Kulinarium for a fancy last night in Vienna. I'm far more at home in a beer-y bar or a mid range diner, so this restaurant was always for my wife and not for me! The service was excellent and the food of a very high standard. They'd benefit enormously from having an English menu, as other restaurants in... More

Been there on one night alone, very early (just opening time). I got a superb totani soup as a starter (nothing like a fish soup, more a totani goulash with roasted bread slices and all, and a fish filet that was simply perfect. I was presented with a tasty amouse-bouche on the house, and finished with a grappa, also from... More

What a delight. A warm welcome and original tasty food. Black pasta with calamari and also fish of the day were wonderful. Cheese and cheesecake for desert were excellent. Best of all was the service - we were made to feel welcome and service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Some gentle live singing and accordion playing fitted the... More

I have eaten at Kulinarium7 several times and it has always been amazing. The chef, Toni is an artist when it comes to preparing fish and other mediterranean and Croatian dishes. The waiters are always friendly. They have an excellent wine cellar which can be used for big celebrations as well. Very authentic cuisine. You can almost smell the sea!... More

Visited as a couple for a romantic dinner after reading excellent reviews. My wife loves fine food, especially sea food. Me too, but I am also keen on value for money. We liked the place the moment we entered. It is quite small with maybe 15 tables. It was very full at 8pm on a Friday night and we were... More

Warm atmosphere, cosy ambiance, and attentive service. This restaurant has an open kitchen from where all amazing food smells come out and bring even more appetite to us. We ordered bruschetta (creative and tasty, with truffle scent), salmon tartare (fresh and spiced), and shared the Brodeto as main dish (typical Croatian fish stew, with monkfish amongst others, and tomatoes, full... We had read some positive rviews and decided to try the restaurant for ourselves. Frankly, it was a disappointment. The food was good but not as good as the prices would suggest. The wine was definitely overpriced, and the service was inattentive, surly and seemingly totally disinterested.

We were looking for something different than a beisl and we found this cosy place that was also recommended on Lonely Planet. We found out it was a Croatian reastaurant only there..actually it was a pleasant surprise! Moules were terrific, risotto and seabass tasty as well. Service very nice. Bill in line with quality and Vienna standard. I would recommend... More

If you're looking for authentic Croatian seafood in Vienna you should go to Kulinarium 7. The restaurant looks really great, we were sitting in the basement, which still has the old brick walls and ceiling.
