Went for lunch without booking and were delighted with our food. The home made pasta with the salmon was delicious. Neither of us are smokers and fortunately no-one else in the restautrant was smoking at the time. If the restaurant had been smoky when we were there. I would have been disappointed

Dai Fratelli is close to the St Stephan cathedral. The place is warm and welcoming. Our Antipasti and pizza were good. Wine by the glass average. The only thing I did not like was a woman chain smoking close to us while we were dining. But unfortunately nothing could be done. Smoking is still legal in restaurant in Austria apparently!

When in Vienna with my son on 18th Jan 2017 we accidentally passed by Ristorante Fratelli, we liked the ambience and decided to dine there.Service was excellent and food was absolutely delicious!!.Atmosphere very pleasant! We then decided to come back on the 25th Jan on our return to Vienna after our skiing holiday. We did go back as we decided.... More

The waiters and the Manager were all extremely friendly. We entered on a sunday afternoon for a pizza, and stayed more than 2,5 hours. We had 2 different Pizze, and they were perfect. The red wine suggested by the waiter was excellent. This is a place where it is nice to enjoy a good cozy lunch or dinner.

This restaurant has a fabulous place. Very close to Stephansplatz and metro station. Could be a good choice for Italian menu but the waiters are a little bit slow and they behave like they're unpleasant to work in this place. Menu is fine. Ambiance is good. Taste of the minestrone soup, pasta and panna cotta was average. Prices are high... More

We where not satisfied, medium quality , only the pizza was nice . You can only order bottled water which is expensive, the big one costs 7euro! I ' d rather have a glass of wine or whatever , unacceptable!

We stumbled across this lovely restaurant by chance. As a group of 7, including 2 children and a baby we were welcomed warmly by the waiters. Food was excellent and enjoyed by all. Our waiter was friendly and witty. It was the best meal we had during our week in Vienna. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for the festive season... More

We came to this restaurant twice. We ordered some salads with chicked and with sea food ("Fratelli"), pizza, tomato soups. All came quite fast during both visits. The food was great. The service was good, but some of the staff could improve. We would come back. It would also help if the menu had a bit more variety.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
