With a great location on Mariahilferstrasse, this restaurant/pub offers a great variety of meals and drinks for everyone. They have traditional Austrian beer and food, coming in huge portions for decent prices. The beef goulash I ate was very delicious and well worth the money. However, given the nice atmosphere, this is also a great place for an afternoon/night out... More

We went for dinner based on TA reviews. Located about 45 min walk from Ring/museum area. Subway could have taken us to within 5 min walk but we chose to walk. Comfortable restaurant with separate smoking section. Host/servers spoke English. We had schnitzel with roasted potatoes and goulash w/sausage. Both were excellent - so much we went back 3 nights... Trusting the good reviews we entered this place which looks old, uggly and not well kept. Even the rest rooms were dirty around lunchtime. Service people were arguing loudly between themselves instead of taking care of the few customers in an almost empty "restaurant". Food was bad, ribs served on a huge pile of greasy not crispy French fries, Tafelspitz... More

We visited this restaurant on February 21, 2017 for an evening meal. The Hostess was very welcoming and showed us to our table which we had reserved. The waitress, Simone, was immediately attentive and had a very welcoming and happy attitude. Her service was helpful and excellent. The food was just as we had hoped and typically Viennese. We would... More

The food here was tasty although I was a bit disappointed there was no wine on the menu. A nice relaxed atmosphere with a nice mix of families, locals and tourists. The waitress was amazing and kept the whole place under control - despite it being busy she never left us waiting long. Impressive! A safe bet for a drink... More

Visited as a part of our 3 day tour of Vienna and was made to feel welcome. Really enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna. Also enjoyed the staffs traditional dress.

The food is very good (I had pork schnitzel with potato mayonnaise) and the portions are big enough to share. A friend had gnocchi with tomato sauce and it was maximum ok. The environment and people are nice and friendly.
