We went to this restaurant in late afternoon for some coffee and cake. We ordered the Austrian apfelstrudel and topfenstrudel with some ice cream. It allowed us to taste these traditional dessert.

Unbelievable terrible service from the small blonde, came with my wife and kids, bought some ice cream and went outside to set in a table, she came shouting on us that we can't set of we buy ice cream on the go with an attitude unless we buy anything else so I told her I want a coffee to stay seated, she replied with a very very rude voice go ask the other guy for the coffee. On other note, ice cream was less than average. Not recommended at all

Very rude attitude
I came in to enjoy a cold cream
As i was asking the staff if they have frozen yogurt as well as ice creams , he basically said no and gave me his back and went away!
he was very rude
No manners
No ethics
Expected better treatment and attiude
I left after 20 minutes of sitting without getting anyone to help or ask if ill order

Very bad service and rude attitude specially from the short blond girl, she is not polite with bad body language. If you don’t have the basic skills for customer service then don’t work in a very busy cafe and in a touristic area

Poor service and very expensive. We had dinner on Christmas Eve, although we had booked 3 days in advance our table was not ready when we arrived. Service was cold, no question if we were happy with our food that was nothing special. Restaurants in Vienna add 10% tip in the bill, in this restaurant they rounded up by 0.5% without any explanation. Very very expensive for what they offer.

A nice and cozy place, great food and great stuff ! It s great after a day visiting prater park ! We also forget some souvenirs there, and the waitress come after us and brought us the bag ! I strongly recomend it ! Not only for the food but for the service

DO NOT GO THERE AT ANY COST!
A family of 3 walked in for dinner at the Prater location nearby the entrance. Outside was hot (5.50 pm) so we sat inside the totally empty restaurant . No one meet us so we walked in and asked the somehow polite hostess or bartender (unknown). Waited for about 10 min for a waiter. Despite his bad English we've managed to order somehow.Warning - the prices are very high. Being served a beer, water and some bread and butter. The bread and butter serving in question WAS NOT a part of our order so we taught it's a compliment of the restaurant as it should be.
15 min later a Caesar salad came then the long waiting begun. We've waited for total of 50 min and asked another waiter where is our food. The grumpy waiter said we MUST wait !?, but went to the kitchen, where we heard some arguments, followed by immediate serve.
The roast beef ordered was ок, but the butter schnitzel was a disgusting meatball
actually. Asked why we have a meatball served and got a rude answer that this is it....
Well, we refused the desert ordered and asked for the bill.
Here we go - 80 bucks for nothing....Look at the bill below and THINK BEFORE YOU GO THERE.
Of course we freaked out asking for explanation. These miserable and arrogant people charged us GEDECK ABEND at EUR 3.50 per person! When I asked what is that the answer was "This is for the table". Then somehow we got arrogantly explained the charge was for the bread/butter, although we never ordered that. That tricky charge you can find it at the menu sneaked in between - German language ONLY. The second unknown charge is TRINKGELD - a TIP !!!!! Can you imagine - they collected a tip that will never get out of their "happy and satisfied" customers!
Had nothing else to do but paid and hurry off to Madame Tussaud next door as we had a paid tickets. Well the last admission was at 7pm, we were there at 7.15pm and it was closed. Another loss...
As I said at the beginning - DO NOT GO THERE AT ANY COST! Better walk down the alley and find two taverns crowded with locals. Make your choice and have yourself a happy evening!

This restaurant is located just inside the amusement park. We ate in the outdoor seating area on a warm spring evening, enjoying the sights and sounds of the rides and riders as we ate our meal. Food was average, we thought, but service was good -- friendly and professional. Compared to other restaurants we visited in Vienna, we thought this one was a bit over-priced, and that reflects its location. Still, we enjoyed our time at the Eisvogel and were happy with our choice.

We read in a travel guide that if you want to try real Wiener schnitzel you should visit this restaurant. Restaurant is big and there weren’t many guest when we arrived. Service was good. Two of us ordered schnitzel with parsley potatoes and the rest chose potato salad & lamb’s lettuce. Schnitzel was huge and tasty, potato salad was really delicious! Prices for such location affordable.

I stopped here for lunch during a sunny day time visit with my 10 year old niece. Honestly couldn't fault it. It wasn't cheap but their half chicken with cucumber salad was absolutely delicious and childs portion of spaghetti with tomato sauce hit the spot perfectly. Service was quick, polite and very professional and it was evident that in the evening, this is a first class restaurant. If you want to avoid the usual kiosk style of the other eating options, this is a great choice.

We happened to have gone on a tour of the city all day and walked by the restaurant on our way back to our hotel and decided to eat there. It was very very nice and not only was the food fantastic, so was the service. It had outdoor seating, but it had gotten cooler during the evening. A gem we would have missed if we had not been walking back to the hotel.
