The place is quite big and has a lovely outdoor seating with a big playground for kids. The food is delicious and probably it's the only Wagner that serves for for vegetarians and vegans , which I think is an advantage for them. The staff are dressed in traditional dresses which is nice and adds a cultural touch to it.... More

This is a genuinely traditional Viennese tradition which everyone should experience. Unfortunately these establishments are disappearing like the English pubs. The prices are reasonable and the buffet selection is always amazing. The interior is traditional and in the sumner you can enjoy the garden but bring mosquito repellent. Highly recommended.

Stopped in to get out of the rain. Cozy warm atmosphere where the staff is friendly and dressed in traditional Austrian wardrobe. The wine and spirits were all very good and made locally. This place was the best bargain I found my whole time in Austria. My party had 8 glasses of wine, 4 homemade Kirsch schnapps and a bottle... More

I went here with a group of 40 people after a sporting event. The restaurant is beer garden style but indoors. The servers bring you drinks but you go to the cafe to view and order all the food (starters, mains, desserts). They have a wide selection of viennese and german food and everything is delicious! We were pretty hungry... More

We were a large group, as a part of dinner party during bussines trip. Everything was perfect. Fast service, delicious meal. Can't find anything wrong. Location isn't the best, but it is worth the trip

Great garden, fine wines - try the Veltliner! - and good food. Excellent, attentive service. A classic Viennese Heuriger, updated as a restaurant for all-year visits.

While in Vienna, you should experience a restaurant like this one. It is one of the best wine garden restaurants. The restaurant is a buffet style. They have all different kinds of meats and vegetables. It is a wonderful way to try something that you have never had before. The restaurant has an old village atmosphere and a vineyard experience.... More

Good But busy Heuriger, food is ok, not great, the atmosphere is good but rooms are all a it smokey. Garden is amazing with a fantastic play area for the kids. Only real issue is the buffet staff can be impatient and rude.

Actually a real Heuriger is not allowed to open the whole year round.therefore some converted into a restaurant with all the typical assets of the original : self grown wine of good quality and an ample self service buffet with cold and warm snacks.

Wonderful restaurant on the bus 38A line in Grinzinger. Cafeteria style with great food choices. I had the veggie burger and a side of beans and pickled cucumbers. Others in my party had the Wiener schnitzel, special potatoes, cole slaw. We also had house wine and no room for dessert. Searing was in a court yard with picnic tables filled... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s poshest green leafy suburb is also its most romantic hotspot. Walk up Grinzinger Strasse with its many historic wine taverns. The tops of nearby Nussberg and Reisenberg hills make for great strolls through the vineyards, and the occasional discovery of a hidden winery. Popular local weekend hangouts are Neustift am Walde with even more great wine taverns, and café restaurant Cobenzl, up on Cobenzl hill – fantastic for great vistas of Vienna. The woodland around Kahlenberg has a wonderful and not too strenuous hiking path - just don't forget the insect repellent. If you have adventurous children, take them to Waldseilpark Kahlenberg (forest rope park Kahlenberg). A must-do if you want a taste of the Vienna Woods is a stop at Josefinenhütte next door with its great food, cosy interiors and wonderful outdoor space.
