Fantastic little restaurant in Spittelberg, the 'village in the city.' Really great authentic Austrian food, excellent service and lovely setting (we'd booked in advance and we're setting outside in the warm evening). About €200 for 4 adults having 3 courses plus a nice bottle of...More

This restaurant is well located in the city and situated in a charming baroque house. Unfortunately, the restaurant keeper has no idea what is a real Topfenstrudel. When I complained, the lady of the house dropped the plate and quite loud, all other guests were...More

This is a good Austrian restaurant. You can find local and international dishes and all cooked with love. Good for lunch or dinner, good service and the best products

My partner and I took a gamble on this place for no other reason than it was conveniently situated about one hundred metres from our hotel and we needed to eat before going to a concert at the Palais Auersperg. We were seated upstairs and...More

Cozy and homely atmosphere. Portions were not so big but the dishes were very tasty. Beer was nice! The service was excellent!

Visited this restaurant, small and intimate dining room upstairs. Not the largest of menus or the cheapest but the food was excellent.

From the outside, this restaurant looked deserted and that nearly put us off altogether. But when we stepped off the street we were led up to a bustling upstairs dining room. It felt almost like stepping in to a 1920s tea room - there is...More

We had lunch at this beautiful restaurant and had a very pleasant experience. The interior is unique, intimate and traditional. I believe the daughter came out to take our order and the service we received was very thoughtful. Everything from the bread dip to the...More

We visit last week. It was rather empty but this was true of several of the restaurants we visited. It is a charming local restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices with friendly service. We would happily return so highly recommend.

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.

I just turned up and got a table but I would strongly recommend reserving as it is a small restaurant.
