Our family of 4 ate here while in Vienna for vacation. The wiener-schnitzel was great, and butter-schnitzel yummy too.

Quite nasty tasting coffee, wouldn't recommend this cafe. Ok cafe style and ambiance, but waiting staff not too friendly.

As we were visiting the Leopold museum, we took a small rest at the Leopold café. It was very crowded and the waiters were running around so it seemed a very chaotic and busy place. But the coffee was the best I've had in Vienna. There is a separate and closed off section where you can smoke and have your... More

It was a cold & rainy day. After 2 hours in the museum we stopped in for a hot drink. They offered bittersweet or milk chocolate hot chocolate. We received a tall glass of hot milk and a wooden stick with a square of bittersweet chocolate. You put the square in the hot milk and mix until melted. There is... More

I have been to Café Leopold many times over the year and ended up there for drinks and a bite to eat after a visit to Leopold Museum (in the same building) yesterday. Friendly service (and also quick at first, but then "invisible" as the place became fuller), good grilled cheese sandwich and decent price points (EUR 1.80 for a... More

I went to the restaurant with my friends. The place looks nice and serves very good main dishes but we noticed that desserts aren't fresh. Moreover service is very poor, waiters aren't polite but if you look for a cheap place to eat Leopold Cafe is quite nice.

I went there after my visit at the museum. Order a wrap, that was ok and with the wrap, there is a salad. There was a fly in my salad... During all the time that I was there, nobody came to see if everything was ok. At the end, when the waitress came, I pointed out the fly. Her reaction... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
