Six of us had a lovely evening meal here in October. I found it on TA and thought we should try it, and we weren't disappointed. Good choices and reasonable prices

Recommended to us by our hotel (Mercure First) & did not disappoint. The food was excellent and a good value for money. The restaurant seemed to popular with locals & service was quick and friendly too. Thanks for a lovely evening!

starters served very slowly and absolutely nothing special. traductions on the menu from german language is very rough, so that we all had to discuss as the courses arrived (after waiting one hour!). the owner seems to be kind, but a couple of old waiters are very rude as we asked for explanations. they tip our credit card without asking,... Choosen on hotel's advice, I arrived here with my girlfriend for halloween dinner. Two decent entrees without any mention, then I ordered a wiener schnitzel, but as the course arrives I see a very thin slice piece of meat made on the grill swimming in a brown sauce: so I asked the waiter why my wiener schnitzel wasnt pan-fried as... Recommended by our hotel around the corner we were not disappointed in any way. Friendly staff and authentic Austrian food and wine along with fruit vodka shots. This restaurant is an absolute must for any visitor to Vienna. Recommend you reserve a table as it is busy........

We came to this restaurant on the recommendation of our hotel and were not disappointed! It is down a side street and you might not pass by but do search it out as the atmosphere and food are well worth it! We enjoyed it so much that we ate here twice on our three night stay in Vienna. It's a... More

Excellent meal, good value and the red and white wine recommended to us by the head waiter were fantastic tasting and reasonable prices. Veal Schnitzel was plentiful as was the beef and onions dish. White choc cake dessert was very flavoursome but we were so full, we had to share!

You won t find a better restaurant featuring Viennese cooking for sensible prices than this hidden typical old style restaurant in the middle of old town. Lots of locals .

This restaurant is definitely one of our great finds while walking around Stephenplatz surrounding area. I can't say for sure if it is genuine Austrian cooking only because I am not a local but it was truly delicious. We were walk-ins but the front guy managed to accommodate us a cozy table for two. The place filled up rather quickly... More
