We loved il gusto so much that we visited twice on our long weekend break to Kitzbuhel!! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and they were very accommodating when we asked to turn half a main course pizza into a takeaway as we couldn't finish it but didn't want to leave it:-). Can't wait to... More

If this had been my local in London I’d been happy enough, but on holiday “nice” doesn’t quite cut it. Service was fine and the menu had a wide selection but the food itself just wasn’t special. Texture and taste of the fish was lacking and the plate was too bare; side dishes were limited and added a step 10... More

SO....I went to trip advisor for reviews of restaurants to dine at while in Kitzbuhel and Il Gusto popped up as a top ten so I thought let's check it out. Our concierge at the hotel had not been there so wasn't able to recommend it. It was our favorite restaurant (tied with 1st Lobster) and definitely one of the... More

Even though i was only in Kitzbuhel for one week, i ended up visiting Il Gusto twice because i enjoyed it so much. Its pretty much got everything i want in a restaurant, namely good food and wine/beer, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. It does however get very busy, especially a the weekend, so be prepared to have a... More

It's traditional italian restaurant in Kitzbühel...reservations are neccessary, because it's always crowded...the food is delicious, the service is good and the atmospehere is warm and inviting. Don't forget to drink their home-made limoncello after the dinner..

We ate here on our first night after making a reservation in advance. Not too difficult to find on the street behind the main shopping street. We had a warm welcome & given good menus in English. The food was excellent quality - traditional Italian style & enjoyed by all of us. We had a couple of bottles of Gruner Veltliner... More

The food was alright but the veal tonnato was too dry. The Pasta was good. We found it quite pricey. Service was friendly and efficient.

The food was ok but they did not serve the food to everybody at the same time. With both first and main course we had to wait for my food but it was served to my friends. They also forgot that we where five people at the table and not four several times. The food and wine was good but... More

Il Gusto provides a welcome change from the heavy weight Tyrolean cuisine on offer in so many of the local eateries. Small, family run, & with an authentic feel, it is easily our favourite Italian in town. It has a desirable frontage & a homely but buzzing vibe. Due to it's size & that we are invariably in a large... More

A small friendly all Italian family restaurant. A welcome relief from overpriced Schnitzels and Bratwurst elsewhere in the resort. Must have the spinach side dish - heaven. Best Vongole I have eaten.
