Ottoburg was built in 1180 and the restaurant is housed in 6 rooms of this historical building. They are all beautifully furnished. Service is good. If you want traditional Austrian food with incredible views of the Nordkette mountains and the Old City, then this is the place to eat.

Understaffed and had to wait for a table. Service was slow (delay in mains being served). Food offering was tasty if a bit on the expensive side. Historic building - so worth checking out.

Can really copy and paste previous reviews. The building and cosy indoor make nice setting for a dinner but the staff will make you feel really unwelcome. We just ordered main course to leave as quickly as we can. Also, we were surprised to see €4.40 (€2.20/person) charge for bread they bring out to every table upon arrival, which you'd... More

The history and charm of the building made for a unique dining experience. The traditional Austrian food was delicious, especially the Austrian ravioli and the potato soup. However, the waitress was less than friendly and the fact that they did not play any music made it feel a bit awkward.

i would never go there again, we felt like we were disturbing. although the food was really good (hands up to the chef) we've not enjoyed our stay due to the terrible service. Come on, it's a high priced restaurant, one of the most expensive you will find in the area, we've never experienced anything like that before, and we... More

Was recommended to go here by an individual with a girlfriend who was born in Innsbruck. "Fantastic" I thought - true Austrian cuisine. He warned me the hostess was not welcoming. Very true. We walked in. No one acknowledged us for several minutes. I eventually thought that meant seat yourself. As I started to do so, we got some attention.... More

Nice typical Austrian restaurant, good food even if a little expensive in comparison to the kind of food and service: very simple service and not a huge variety of dishes. Just enter the restaurant they gave us the menu "à la carte", only after a suggestion of another customer they gave us the menu of the dishes of the day!

Super cute/authentic restaurant. Amazing food! Got the deer stew was really rich and nice with the fried slices dumplings. Tried some of my partners schnitzel was perfect and my friends goulash was amazing and rich. Can't fault this place at all! :)

If you look at the Website of "Ottoburg" best from the kitchen will pass by. And in reality everythings come to your table as seen in the wensite. Phantastic Wiener Schnitzel, perfect in steam cooking made Tafelspitz or grilled fish. really good kitchen at reasonable pricing. You get the feeling, that the crew in the kitchen likes their job and... More
