Because I do not speak German, there were several other guests that translated for us, including when the restaurant was open and what the menu items were. When we found out how the items were cooked, I ordered the liver, which was absolutely delicious. The only liver better than this that i have eaten is (sorry Mom) in Venice, Italy.... More

First, I apologize because I do not speak German. Today I ate the best cordon bleu I have ever eaten in my life. Better than in Paris, Alsace-Lorraine, Burgundy and Bordeau. If you want a treat directly from heaven, you must order te cordon bleu Klassic at Burgtaverne. The hosts are absolutely wonderful. The service was absolutely magnificent and the... More

After visiting the very interesting Münze Hall we arrived at the restaurant at 2pm. They serve food from 1200-1400:-( However we were offered the full menu and ate a range of food, both local specialities and international food. All was well prepared and of a good standard. The service was also very good and friendly. We highly recommend this restaurant... More

I highly recommend this restaurant! It has both quality food and service. Rebecca was our waitress and she was very helpful in helping with our selections. They have over 30 different types of cordon bleu, which were amazing. This is a must eat at restaurant if your in the area.

Not extra special but very good food, ample choice on the menu, and good value. It was lunch so I didn't expect more than I received. Atmosphere was good, medieval setting being in one of the buildings in the courtyard of the castle in the lower part of Hall-in-Tirol. The castle itself houses the mint museum and the views from... We've been many times on past trips and thought I'd finally post a review. Love the medieval atmosphere here. Service is very good, as it has been in the past. If you like Cordon Bleu, this is the place to have it. So many varieties. My wife had the Zanderfilet and raved about it. The spinach was puréed and had... More

When I read the good comments, we guess we maybe were there on the wrong night. The food was very average (or we should have taken a normal Cordon Blue instead of one of the 29 special combinations) and service was minimal.

If you want to spend an evening in an authentic restaurant with historic flair - this is the place to go. The food is priced very reasonably and is fantastic. They have over 30 different cordon bleus to choose from and each one we tried was tasty. We loved the court yard which is supposed to be very nice in... More

If you are a lover of the real taste of Austria, go here when you're in the neighbourhood. In addition to the real Austrian classics, they have a choice of no less than 30 cordon blue combinations. Be careful: the XXXL version is really big!! Our favorite: the three cordon blue plate for two. They're backed to perfection. Lovely location... More
