Overall a great experience. We ate outside in their biergarten. It is quite large with lots of tables and trees for shade. Each main dish came with a side salad, which was delicious. It had coleslaw, leafy greens, cucumbers and tomatoes. For the main, we got the spinach dumplings and wiener schnitzel. Both were delicious and cooked to perfectly. Staff... More

Came here on a whim as the Brauerei next door was closed. Absolutely delicious food with friendly service in a quaint garden. The Gulash with Knoedel is highly authentic and reminded me of my Austrian grandmothers recipe! Great value for money! Simple yet delicious meals including schnitzel (of course), ham and cheese toast, Knoedel, and several types of sausages ...... More

We stumbled upon this place in an attempt to visit the nearby brewery's beer garden that did not open until 3pm. What find!!! Fantastic old styling - perfect and authentic food to go with very cold beer. We made friends at the community style table and loved the entire experience - best of all was the spring time white asparagus... More

The table and the chairs were not comfortable at all. after taking our order, the waiter made a mistake and bring us one more dish, we told him that we didnt order it, but he started to show us one by one and say to everyone of us "you ordered, dont lie" we had an awful experience there. when we... In this restaurant you will find typical austrian food. The ambiance in the restaurant is very quaint with friendly and helpful staff.

Traditional restaurant where Austrian specialities are offered. Food is very good, only fresh seasonal products at high quality are served. Wonderful garden with chestnut trees. Service could be improved.

Expensive, don't go, even if you are rich! Tinny portions, if you want to spend your money, or waste it, through it to the river and make a wish! That's cruel, I know, but 25€ for 3 beers and potatos I guess is quite expensive. Good luck if you are in!!

We went there as a group (around 25 people) and the service was rather deplorable. We probably had the same waiter some other people already complained about on this page. He seemed permanently pissed off and annoyed of every little thing one would have dared to ask for. Also, he mixed up plates and then basically obliged one of our... More

We cane upon here by mistake while looking for the Augustiner bierhall, but the food looked so good we decided to stay. We ordered a goulash with bread dumpling and a pork schnitzel with rosemary potatoes, both of which were very nice. The small portion of goulash was more than enough for a main course. The only downside was when... More

This is a perfect place to enjoy a relaxed lunch away from the mass tourist restaurants. The weather was sunny so we sat under the chestnut trees in the garden with local families enjoying typically Austrian food. I had spinach dumplIngs which were light and full of flavour. They came with a nice mixed side salad. The beer, from the... More
