Cheap restaurant, with very good food. At the beginning the service was a bit slow, but after we ordered the dinner was better.

Stopped for an evening meal, good service and friendly waiter, food arrived fairly quickly and both me and my partner really enjoyed our meals. I went for the lamb and my partner had the beef goulash. Both very enjoyable. Good location

After travelling all day this looked like a useful place to catch a local bier. Bar staff more intent on stock taking and cleaning down for following days service than attending to our thirst. Felt somewhat disappointed.

There were 6 of us for dinner. We had very good service. The food was authentic Austrian. We all were very pleased with our choices. You definitely get plenty of food. Very hearty dinner.

We enjoyed yet more Wiener Schnitzel and a rich Wild-ragout dish, with excellent mixed green salad, some gruner veltliner white wine, and some local beer, apfelscholer for the kids and it was all excellent, arrived promptly and the booths were roomy, the ambience felt old Austrian without being kitsch.

The first time we ate we walked in and the place was bustling full and any tables vacant were reserved. Once established though we were indeed ordering meals, a table was immediately located and we were made to feel welcome. Meals were ordered and drinks were drunk and we were so charmed by the service we asked if we needed... More

We ate here on New Year's Eve and really enjoyed it. The food was very good and unique. The service was even better. Such a friendly staff, and the location is ideal as it is right by the river. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Salzburg.

I went alone as an Asian I arrived at Salzburg in the morning and had good lunch and was very good at sightseeing. Afterwards I went to this restaurant to eat Austrian food before returning to Munich. At first, the female staff was very friendly and kind. But after I had eaten all the food, I spoke to the male... We ate here on the evening of the 2nd Jan, we hadn't booked beforehand but that wasn't a problem as the restaurant wasn't that busy. First impressions weren't good in that we thought the Waitress was a little surly when we arrived, but she did lighten up as time went by. The food was good and served in good time,... More

The 'Gablerbrau' is the most important historical beer inn of the right-sided old town of Salzburg, completely renovated since 2013 and now in new splendor. The history of this place goes back to at least 1429.

Austrian cuisine with a modern twist. Reasonable priced lunch offers varying daily from Monday to Friday. Great variety of local beers, including special sorts such as "Kaltenhausener Bernstein" from a brewery near Salzburg or the unfiltered "Gosser Zwickl".

Striking interior with coloured glass paintings evoking a church-like atmosphere. In the "Wappenstube" significant woodcarvings.

Popular beer garden in the newly designed Cornelius Reitsamer place with spectacular architectural accents (fountains).

In addition to the time-honored part also a modern bar and restaurant area. In the basement guests appreciate the exclusive bar "L9", ideal for events with up to 120 people.
