Not the cheapest option, but well worth the money. Great staff, nice location and great food. Big dishes, so go there hungry! Excellent house beer and also a pretty cool selection of other craft brewery beers. Highly recommended, if you don't mind spending a bit...More

The 'Gablerbrau' is the most important historical beer inn of the right-sided old town of Salzburg, completely renovated since 2013 and now in new splendor. The history of this place goes back to at least 1429. Austrian cuisine with a modern twist. Reasonable priced lunch offers varying daily from Monday to Friday. Great variety of local beers, including special sorts such as "Kaltenhausener Bernstein" from a brewery near Salzburg or the unfiltered "Gosser Zwickl". Striking interior with coloured glass paintings evoking a church-like atmosphere. In the "Wappenstube" significant woodcarvings. Popular beer garden in the newly designed Cornelius Reitsamer place with spectacular architectural accents (fountains). In addition to the time-honored part also a modern bar and restaurant area. In the basement guests appreciate the exclusive bar "L9", ideal for events with up to 120 people.
