Convenient location, excellent apple strudel and good coffee. A delightful find on a cold day. Warm atmosphere and excellent service. Get the vanilla cream sauce with your strudel!

Hard to find but take the effort. It is above the Tschibo coffee shop. They have great strudels and coffee. Try the melange (a typical Austrian coffee, like a cappuccino) and an apple strudel. it is now our preferred coffee place in Salzburg

Nice place located up a flight of stairs. Not really the cozy environment I was expecting. Only menus in German - in my opinion a sign of quality. Whatever you do - don't miss the strudel! Mine was great but contained a hair.

We had planned at least one breakfast with trying the world famous apple strudel at an Austrian cafe and we had it at Cafe Wurfelzucker. The place is nice and cozy. The staff is friendly. The Strudels are great here

We had one of our breakfasts here when visiting Salzburg and we weren't disappointed at all. The place is really cozy and the staff is very open and friendly. I think the breakfast menu is a bit overpriced but the 'Strudels' are great and they are a must to try, accompanied with a cup of hot coffee!

Adorable cafe. We had just come from the airport and they let us store our luggage off to the side while we ate. Amazing cappuccino, anda really nice waitress who was really hustling.

I did a Google search for "Best Apfel Strudel In Salzburg," and this cafe came up with exceptional ratings from TripAdvisor users. It is on the second floor of a building along the river in Old Town, so it is extremely accessible, if you are able to find the entrance stairs (I found them without any trouble at all). The... We seek this cafe out each time we visit Salzburg. It is good to visit in winter or summer. In the summer there is outside seating on the balcony where you can enjoy views of the river whilst having coffee and cake. The cakes are delicious and comprise of typical Austrian favourites which you can wash down with good coffee.... More

Cozy cafe with delicious apple streusel. Nice afternoon stop on a chilly day. Easy to miss. Name is above archway at alcove. Duck into alcove and walk upstairs.
