Waiters are dressed in Austrian clothing with shorts, food was excellent and loved those who find the restaurant using Rick Steves recommendation The staff is very friendly and they have English menus

We had three different soups , and all of them were very tasty. Than a Wiener schnitzel , and a goulash dish. The pork beef was big and soft. I liked it. The goulash was not as good as the other dish. Good spicy but a bit too fat.

Daily tour visiting Salzburg. This restaurant was recommended for their traditional Bavarian menu, price and fast service. I had the goulash (beef) with dumplings and potato. The sauce was very tasty. It was a very cold day outside so the meal was perfect to warm me up. Would definitely recommend it if you're visiting for the day

We went there once two days ago, and there was enough room for our group of 4 adults, two small children and a baby, but we were told that all tables were reserved. One of us went by again today to make a reservation for lunchtime, but they said it was not needed. As we went for lunch with the... More

We randomly found this place while searching somewhere to have dinner: it was amazing! We had schnitzel and it was really really good, just as the strudel. The service was fast and kind, even if they didn't speak a lot of English. Totally recommended!

We just stumbled upon this amazing little restaurant with the best food we had while in Salzburg. Very friendly and cozy atmosphere. We were honored to spend some nice quality time with the owner Robert who could not have been nicer and more welcoming to us. I'm still crazing the bratwurst and kraut. Danke Robert........Robert and Alexandra

OK, I'm not qualified to verify how authentically Austrian this place is, but 90% of the occupants were locals, the decor was basic, it felt more like a locals pub, and the food was simple but damn tasty. The beer is Spiegl pils which gets things off to a good start. The menu is simple and to the point. There... More

Looking for somewhere to eat in Salzburg and we happened upon this place. Luckily we arrived before the rush because later on people were unable to get a table. Great, friendly service, great beers and the food was wonderful! we both had Schnitzel with potatoes and salad - I thought the potatoes wouldn't be so great as they were boiled... More

Small, nice pub with good beer. Smell of old times, someone does not like, i hd no problem. Owner was very kind and friendly. Schnitzel was very good, though išt is not highest gastronomy. anyway I would visit them again.
