Many austrian and habitants of graz are going to this place. It is not overcrouded by tourists and has an very good quality. From traditional Wiener Schnitzel to typical austrian food, everything is a plasure on your tongue! Prices are affordable, but would not call it cheap. That is also the fact for loosing one *star*. The cook has amazing... More

We have been there in the afternoon about 5pm and there were almost no guests as it is a perfect styrian/austrian restaurant for lunch or better for dinner. So the mood there was quite as i'm in a church, everybody whispered there! i would recommend some nice and chilling bar and jazz music but be careful with the style it... More

Have been here twice, first with a larger group og co-workers, second time with my wife. The atmosphere is pleasant Austrian and the food served is well prepared and good quality. Nice wine cellar as well. Didn't try dining in the court yard yet, but will do that next. This is a cozy and small restaurant. Reservation is recommended.

Very good and traditional food. Not so fancy, more robust. Perfect when you want to meet in a small group, enjoy the evening, eat and drink.

It was our second visit to this restaurant. A few years ago we had an excellent lunch, this time perfect dinner. Very warm ambience of an old tavern and very nice service. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

We came to this restaurant at the suggestion of our hotel staff. They said it had excellent Styrian cuisine. We came in and gotthe last 3 seats available. When they learned we were English-speakers, they sent a stff member ovef who was fluent and gave us English menus. The food was excellent. Our party had chicken, salmon and char, and... More

Is it expensive? no! Its extremely expensive! Small, not tasty portions being pretended on High Cousin. Polite personnel, nice Austrian atmosphere and prices which are at least 2 times higher than anywhere else in Graz or in Vienna.

The setting and ambience of this gem is to be enjoyed. It is not cheap but the quality of the food, the wine and the very special service are all worth it. But do not just pop in. There will be no tables: it is so popular with locals as well as visitors. After the first evening, I booked for second... More
