Despite the appearance of this restaurant the food was terrible. My wife and I ordered a salad with apricots in it and the apricots appeared to have been soaked in salt rather than sugar. The whole salad was quite unpalatable.

Had lunch here prior to Abbey tour. Staff were very friendly & efficient being aware that diners have short timescale in which to eat before visiting Abbey. Food was very pleasant & good value. Happy to recommend.

The Abbey, the museum, the exhibit, the garden and the restaurant were all a most memorable stop and worthy of an overnight if you can swing it. The town is lovely and the folks were most welcoming to all visitors. What a beautiful setting and what a piece of history not to be missed! The monks were wonderful!

After a tour of the Abbey we were hot, tired and hungry. We were served promptly and they went out of their way to make sure I got a great vegan meal. My partner had the goulash which is not his usual choice and he proclaimed it 'delicious'. The perfect end to the very long morning. Total cost with a... More

Had a delicious quick lunch here when visiting the Abbey. The meal was delicious and the restaurant is quite chic. It was served quickly and the staff were friendly. A good place to eat well and quickly.

My wife and I go out of our way to try local restaurants on our trips and are willing to taste anything. Based on the location and the setting of this restaurant, we were expecting a "typical tourist" meal. Luckily, we were wrong. My wife and I had the goulash,,,,which was made completely different than any other we had tried... More

Food was ok, small quantity and on the pricy side. If you are not hungry I would not eat here and wait until you return. Friendly staff and service was fast.

In fairness we just dropped by to taste the wine made by the monks before we bought any bottles. They have a very nice "bar" seating area outside under an impressive, large umbrella. We ordered a glass of white and a glass of the red wine. Both were drinkable, but very light on flavor and no body. Would not recommend... More

Not a lot of eateries to choose from, pretty much this is it. Clean restaurant and fast, friendly service. The food was good. It a little pricey for the quality. Choice of meat, pasta, and vegetarian dishes. Not all credit cards accepted.
